    im bummed you got him...i had him tabbed to be my b/u QB as well...he mustve signed with you because of some bug you manipulated...why would he want to be a b/u QB for your team when he could take less money from me and be a b/u QB on my team...

      I liked Roderick, he does well. Now he is nothing but a dirty little whore. I signed a MLB you were trying to get, I'll trade you to him for my dirty little whore.
      My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

            Jave = OWNED

            Changed his offer to Montgomery to a 2-year deal and the guy ends up accepting Dakota's new 3-year offer. Doesn't get any better than that!

              But a boat load of signing bonus money...he was the only free agent that was a must sign for me.

              We now have a great front seven...the back 4 need a little work tho....

                    Actually no. I considered going balls out for him, but really, nothing in his stats told me he was going to be the 6 million dollar man. Dakota put up a strong offer and unlike my past complaints, thats a legit deal. He just outbid me. Like I said, I had the opportunity, but decided against it. I put my focus on resigning a few players long term and focusing on the draft.

                    It you want my real opinion, Dakota way overpaid for him. That is not a 6 million dollar defensive lineman and thats exactly why I did not aggressively pursue him. When all is said and done, I am happy with my decisions in this free agency. I didn't overpay for anyone. No, I did not get any difference makers but in my opinion, there wasn't any real difference makers this year, so I am pleased with what I came out with.

                      Ah yes, I recognize that strategy ...

                      METHODS OF DEALING WITH FREE AGENCY REJECTION

                      1. Mention that you're glad you didn't get him in the end.

                        Yeah...probably overpaid, but I had money to spend and I had a huge need for a pass rushing DE, especially with a shoddy secondary. But then again...who isn't overpaying in this market. If I had to do it over again...I would have probably put a better offer in for Herndon.

                        Is it just me, or did the Voodoo re-sign anyone. Alot of good free agents went to market now that I'm looking at it.

                          No, I didn't say I didn't want him. I said he wasn't worth 6 million a year.

                                A) Any contract handed out to an Imperial League player can be subject to review by the League Administration. If a contract is deemed unsportsmanlike by the administration, they may force a reworking of it or rip it up all together and release the player that is contracted. A very severe violation may result in additional penalites or the expulsion of the violating owner.
