Hehe, Virgil's not actually looking for much more than that.. I've sent another offer closer to his asking price but the difference is only like 300k in bonus money. I'll save 3 million against this year's cap AND maintain the same cap-hit for the next 5 years that the old contract had. The man wants to keep playing in Burlington for the rest of his career!

I'll have 24mil+ to spend on FAs this year.. yeah baby!

Heroes have a lot of thinking to do. Collela is asking for a solid contract, 6 year deal. only kicker is the $18million bonus he wants. i would give it to him but at year 6 he'd be a 15 year vet. he's a top 3 QB in this league, but he's not gonna be that way forever. i may have to franchise him the next 2 or 3 seasons, or see if he'd like to sign a shorter deal, like 4 or 5 years. i don't think i'm willing to go to that 6th year.
