Free Agency Discussion (Stage 12 Done)

Last night the page just wouldn't load. It just sat there. I tried it about half a dozen times over 2 hours. It worked this morning though.

To be more specific, the page itself loaded, but none of the files themselves showed up. You couldn't see them. It showed the page loading, but nothing happened.

Forgot to mention that tomorrow's file won't be ran until very late. Going to a hockey game 100 miles north of me right after work and I won't get home until around midnight.

Changed his offer to Montgomery to a 2-year deal and the guy ends up accepting Dakota's new 3-year offer. Doesn't get any better than that!

Actually no. I considered going balls out for him, but really, nothing in his stats told me he was going to be the 6 million dollar man. Dakota put up a strong offer and unlike my past complaints, thats a legit deal. He just outbid me. Like I said, I had the opportunity, but decided against it. I put my focus on resigning a few players long term and focusing on the draft.

It you want my real opinion, Dakota way overpaid for him. That is not a 6 million dollar defensive lineman and thats exactly why I did not aggressively pursue him. When all is said and done, I am happy with my decisions in this free agency. I didn't overpay for anyone. No, I did not get any difference makers but in my opinion, there wasn't any real difference makers this year, so I am pleased with what I came out with.

Montgomery 2nd in the league in sacks with 15.5. Tied for the 3rd highest total ever (including Cuthbert this year).
