That's funny if you actually expected that from Jim.
After 2 fuckin years I was hopefull.
But why? Customization has never been his bag. Ever.

Boxscores and logs are nice.. BUT.. not external CSS is used so we're stuck with Jim's choice of eh.. colors ;-)

What do ya want me to say? It dissapoints the hell out of me. Alot of new stats and ways to look at them, meh. Im happy about the playcalling stuff and the draft stuff, but all in all im underwhelmed.

The old files weren't encrypted.. they were stored in binary files but "open".. he says that in 2007, the files have been encrypted.. i.e. scrambled.. like

if the old version had this stored.

Im being harsh. It's just that customizable league sizes and expansion were something i was praying for most. It's like waking up on Christmas morning and getting 19 of the 20 presents you wanted but not the big one.

Gotcha. I guess we'll see how this works out. I wonder if Jim had any sort of contact with Greg at all.

Anyone see anything about imported TCY classes? Probably not. Maybe someone can ask at FOFC...

This is something I'm not sure if it would be a bad thing to get away from. I enjoy that part of it, but I was looking at some things the other day and it looks like we are having some rating inflation.

I seem to remember Jim saying somewhere that is one issue with using the TCY draft files.

The gameplanning pages are a HUGE upgrade from what we have. You will be able to put together much more detailed game plans together now.

Also, you can save your defensive and offensive game plans separately!

That'd be news to me. If I remember right, everyone always believed that TCY classes were worse.

The thing that irks me most about TCY classes is players' ages. Simply put, guys are too old in general. I was thinking about asking roadrash and MrB if they could maybe do some analysis of the ages of guys coming out of the 2005-2008 draft classes. 2004 was not a TCY class.

Wow, it looks like ratings are spread out quite a bit more from 04.
