no, i wrote that incorrectly. i meant "no sarcasm" as in "the absence of sarcasm was my intention", that is "the absence of sarcasm was my intention, there was no part of what i wrote that was intended to be taken as a joke". sorry for the confusion. he annoys me. that's how i deal with people who annoy me.

That's exactly why I traded Boyd. Because last season, having TWO 85+ rated cornerbacks didn't do dick to help stop the passing game. Nearly every week the opposing teams QB passed for 300yds 3 scores a game. No matter what. (Between Cring and Vito I gave up 10TD's in 2 games)...

Don't get frustrated, but just like the NFL, pass defense isn't about just the CB's. In fact, i'd almost go as far as saying it's less about the CB's and more about QB pressure. If you notice during NFL games, the longer the play goes, the advantage goes towards the receivers.

Last season you had nobody with more than 5 sacks, and this week against SLC you had almost no pressure on the QB. 4 hurries and 2 knocked passes down. That's a pretty low number, so it's no surprise a QB like Jacobs can hit a talent like Gomez 8 times for 99 yards despite being double covered. In real life, a receiver like Gomez can easily shake double coverage if given enough time.

No worries there. 5 starters injured, 2 on the offensive line. We are just warming up. I haven't even perfected my offensive gameplan. The issue isn't with my team, or running etc...I could go on to win every single game this year and still demand Jim fix the passing/pass defense issues with 07'. It's gank. Don't you worry....by the end of the year, Oakland will have the division title and be going to the playoffs...SLC will be sitting home watching....
