You mean 08, right? 09 was not released for the PC..

Not entirely true.. when I won in 2010 I had a great QB, true, but sucky receivers. I had two things going for me, a hot running back in Crawford, but a great pass defense. I had Hernandez, the top passrusher in the league that year, and I had Alonzo Lake and Bryant Gattis covering the secondary.

Sure, I barely squeezed into the playoffs, mostly due to having an average offense, but I'd venture to say that it was indeed defense that won me that championship.

I remember that run and I noted then that I needed to get good on defense too. Stallions are pretty talented on defense---last year I rode the unit to the playoffs. Truly think my defense had waaaay more to do with Jacob's 5 TD debut than the offensive gameplan.
