At this is age there is no reason to attempt formations, so it is more like a 0-7-0, with a GK. That is what the instructors said anyways, and since two are the heads of youth soccer for most of Texas and the other one is a former pro player who is on the national youth coaches board or something fancy like that, I guess I shouldn't ignore it. Going to be weird not to have two kids set as defenders at least, but I will give it a try.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

That is pretty much it most of the time. Today for the E license though we actually got a bit of a change to the normal course because they had a thing called a Player Opportunity Event go on at the same time. Basically it's some top coaches coming down (the ones teaching us) to work with kids who the locals think can go far. So these were supposed to be the top kids, and some of them were pretty damn good. They were mostly 11-12 year olds, doing crap with their feet in the air I could only imagine doing. One kid had a teammate linedrive a ball and this kid jumped into the air, stuck his leg back, and tipped it right to an open teammate. :scratchhead::shock:Originally posted by Suicane View PostI vaguely remember playing at that age and it was just a friggin scrum, EVERY kid was around the ball. Funny to look back on.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
