Week #1 Discussion

Saw some good and some stuff I will chalk up to youth. The one thing that worried me a little was the offensive line. Bad penalties, hurries and sacks. Not good run blocking. I hope to see improvement as the season goes on.
Singleton had a couple nice runs but struggled. But again the O Line was weak.
Defense is going to be a problem. I knew it would be. OLB Torres looks to be a playmaker. 2 forced fumbles and a pass defensed.
3rd down defense a problem.

Yeah, I don't deserve to win a game when I turn it over 6 times. Why did my team feel like they had to try a 52 yard FG on 1st down with 22 seconds left to tie the game? Is 22 seconds too long to gain 5 more yards? Such a lame way to lose when I had a shot.

Solid way to start the season. I'm glad I get a good measuring stick game in week 2 as we play host to the defending champs.

I have to say, you DID get a lot of grief for that pick..

Now...that's interesting. Rookie, RB, Morris Shiavi gains over 100 yards and the team rushed for 248 altogether. Devon Taylor has one interception but kept the team marching down the field on key throws. So, I'm thinking...great...fans are going to love this. Taylor leads them to their first opening day win, and I trade him away the next week.

So..now the Heroes muffed up the trade. What to do...what to do. : )

Good game Kobeck. Ball was slipping out of everyones hands early. My defense, especially my pass rush stepped it up late in the game. Nice win but it is at home and I know i'm gonna have to do the same to you in your building for it to mean anything.

On to little rock to play the toadies.
