Doesn't rushing 43 times for 117 yards and a 2.72 YPC qualify?Originally posted by JeffI've realized that many people in this league have a different definition of the word 'breakout' than I do. How can one break out after rushing for over 1500 yards (with a 5+ YPC)?Originally posted by SuicaneChung and Austin may be the breakout tandem of the league this year.

We're happy with our first win of the season. I thought our defense played well enough in this one to get the win for us. Big plays at the end of the game when LAW was driving for the tie.
Blain had more carries than I ever anticipated, but he outplayed Crespo so all is well.
LAW did a good job of limiting Marasco, or he did it himself.
Good game Jester. It's always fun when we lock horns, and atleast you never dropped 49pts on me
Next we're off to Hartford for a nice matchup. Scott Nelson will be primed to go against the team that traded him. :lol:NEWARK BULLDOGS WALL OF HONOR

I don't think the game plan was set up for Markel to succeed. Going deep downfield with the WRs Houston has is not a winning formula. Keep it short, straight, and complete.Originally posted by KobeckOriginally posted by Houston_GMMarkel looked brutal.
If Markel play was even at the Willoughby Line Renegades win.

Glad to start out the season on a winning note, hopefully it will continue. Nice game Biggs, our matchups are always so damn close and you win the majority of them.
RB Jerry Davidson had a fine game, 193 yards from scrimmage (92 rushing, 101 receiving). I was happy with the play of my two starting rookie CB's, Benson and Ferguson. The Power picked on Benson all game long but the rookie did a decent job.
Next week, Bucky Beaver and Fresno is coming to Madison to run some muther fucka's over. Looking forward to it.2003,2004,2007,2008,2010,2013,2024,2025,2031,2037, 2038 and 2039 NC North Division Champions, 2012 and 2017 Wild Card

Wow! the adrenelin in my body has got my whole body shaking. For some reason we can move the ball well, but shut down inside the red zone. Have to take a look at my offensive play-calling.
3 Interceptions on Rocco's part. One leading to Lansing's only TD.
Our defense was SOLID! Tearing apart Todd Terrell's ACL. Four sacks, 2 Hurries, and 3 Balls Batted down at the line of scrimmage. One forced fumble which led to our only touchdown. Webb was held to 35 yards. 2.6 yards per carry.
Even so, 4th down miracles by back up QB Richard had the Ogres down inside the 20 with 8 seconds left with a chance to win, but two incomplete passes sealed the deal for the Spirit.
MLB Charles McCourt was named player of the game with his 11 tackles, 3 assists, and 2 sacks.
Nice to win a road game considering we couldn't win even one in our 7 losses in a row last year.
Not getting too high on this one as we were 6-1 last year and didn't make the playoffs. Having Todd Terrell out though doesn't hurt the chances of anyone in the black and blue division.MIAMI VICE - 2074

My %'s are VERY low after 18 yards because of Markel's weaknesses.. they probably should have been lower from 13-18, but the majority of his throws were supposed to be 0-12 yards. I hate giving out that info, but i'm sure i'll be changing up my game plan soon anyway. I think a lot of the long bomb throws came with the deficit though. At least I hope.
Also, I won't give the exact number, but throwing on 1-10 in normal situations was in the majority of a run instead of a pass. Here are my 1-10 situations..
1- Pass
2- Pass
0-7 - still normal
3 - Pass
4 - Pass
5 - Run
0-14 - skipping until normal again
7-14
6 - Run (of course by my backup)
then it went downhill, so other game plans were used.. I think
Honestly, the way Markel threw when he did, we deserved to lose, but i'm shocked about the game plan.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

Good game Norfolk. Key play of the game happened with about 7 minutes left in the game. Gaddis finally got to Lozier and dropped him to make it 3rd and 18 at my 39 yd. line. Lozier then completes a 25 yd. pass for the 1st down and then they score to go up 10.
We had a chance to make it a 3 pt. game late, but Sante decided to throw it to Norfolk in hte endzone when we had 1st and Goal from the 2.
Passing Game - Sucked. Sante had 3 INT's and connected on 5 of 16 attempts to WR's.
Running Game - Wigfall was solid gaining 99 yds. Moriarty couldn't find any space to run.
Defense - We got torched and lost St. Louis for 4 weeks. We had an incredibly difficult time trying to get to Lozier.2013 AC East Champions

Poor discipline and a offensive line that acted like rookies cost me this game.. but yeah, some awesome punts from Orlando.
Damn.. 4 sacks on Virgil!? From players like Scott Daniels!?
And how many penalties did I get in that game? Shit..
Vermont's opening day winning streak is over.. but from now on, WATCH OUT IFL, we're out for vengeance!
