Thanks Cring, hope you don't have too bad of a hang over!
On to the game!
Stanley Jamison should have been the game's MVP, he went for 120 yards on 28 carries and had one catch for 3 yards and a TD. He set the tone of the game with his runs, and allowed us to dominate the time of possession battle.
The defense gave another complete team effort. 16 different players on defense had at least one tackle! We only had three hurries, but given Mulcahy's ability to feel and evade the rush I am not too disappointed. We limited Kersey and Duffy to under 3.7 yards per carry so we achieved what we set out to do. Take our chances on Mulcahy beating us.
The offensive line was dominant with 14 KRBs! The only player that had a "bad" day was Flemming as he only converted 25% of his KROs. Still, if we can get this type of performance out of the line every week, we'll do well. WVA still has a pretty good defense, so to see us put up the numbers we did, I am happ.

Good game Murf..
My team look absolutely horrible. Like usual, pretty much ignored my offensive gameplan, but it's not like it would have mattered because my defense couldn't stop you.
Markel looked brutal.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

Lost McMurray for 4 weeks, Langevin for 2 weeks. Still won the game, my defense played F'n incredible in the 2nd half, they totaly won this game for me, as good as ever. Reminded me of 2005. I liked the way my offense was clicking till McMurray went down. My D-Line was putting all kinds of pressure on Louisiana, reminded me of the night I lost my virginity.
Good game Voodoo, with all the changes and roster moves it ends up looking like the same old St. Louis/Louisiana battle in the trenches.
Alot of teams made statements today.
Dakota with a nice road win.
Iowa City the same.
Texas won a great offensive slugfest against Little Rock.
Cleveland held court against Montreal, a little alpha dog tail wagging?
Norfolk smacked Boston down a bit, gotta show em who's boss.
Madison, while at home, maybe trying to show that their back and should be reckoned with.
Tulsa with a very nice road win at Columbia, maybe the start of some turnover in that division?
Oakland stayed the course.
Orlando with a BIG win at home vs Vermont.I luv British womenz.

In other news around the league, if anyone thought that Lozier was not the best QB in the league, look at what he did to a stout Boston defense.
Reuben "Picante" Sante looks to be mild. He threw three INTs today! That does not bode well for Boston.
Winston Scott was right up there with Sante for the goat of the week award as he threw 3 INTs in losing a close one against the Snipe Hunters (you know, I had to look up IWC's nickname because I always think of them as the Pig Farmers).
Otis Peterson looked good in his season debut throwing for 3 INTs and completing 67% of his passes. Murphreesboro is now over .500. Don't expect it to last though.
Houston's Deron Markel had a tough game throwing for 3 INTs and completing under 50% of his passes. It was not as bad as it looked though. He was 1 of 8 on passes longer than 19 yards. He doesn't have the weapons to go deep with in Houston.
Portland missed a 45 yard FG with time running out to let Albuquerque escape with a win.
Another close game between Louisiana and St. Louis. Angleo Hairston's first INT was the difference as it gave Mark McMurray and the Cardinals good field position which they used to grind out a TD.
Anchorage looked good in beating a solid Fresno team on the road. Steiner's first game in a Lynx uniform was a bit shakey. He threw 2 TDs, but also 2 INTs. If Fresno's offense was their normal selves, they would have won.
You know it is an ugly game when a LT wins game MVP honors, but that is what happened when the Bulldogs hosted Lawrence. Scott "Just Win Baby" Nelson went to the air 14 times, completing 9 of them to keep drives alive. Colin Blain was the main threat on the ground rushing for 6.0 YPC.
Clayton Chung was impressive in Texas' shootout win over the Toads. He throws for 3 TDs and over 300 yards in the win. An INT returned to the 2 was the difference as Texas punched that in. They hold off the Toads for a 41-35 win.
Tulsa spots Columbia a 14 point lead, before rallying to win the game in OT.
In arguably the upset of the week, Will Irby leads Madison to a 19-17 upset win over Pittsburgh.

I would give the game ball in that one to our Punter, Wilford Street. What an amazing performance. 5 punts ave. 49.6 yards with a 60 yarder to boot. 3 inside the 20. Talk about field position, holy cow. Hynes was solid too. Orlando is very happy with this victory. The coaching staff will be getting hammered after this steal!!!

Yes, Finger proves that he is 100% Male as he goes down with a groin injury vs. Boston. When playing on the road and away from the GF, he tends to :jerkit: too much and too hard.Originally posted by SuicaneChung and Austin may be the breakout tandem of the league this year.
Edit: And yes, Lozier is the fuckin MAN!
Boston,
Tough game. Poor Picante ... somehow I think he is salvageable but he has to rlearn how to read the field better. Starting the Ints like last year. Shake it off to 1st game jitters.

I've realized that many people in this league have a different definition of the word 'breakout' than I do. How can one break out after rushing for over 1500 yards (with a 5+ YPC)?Originally posted by SuicaneChung and Austin may be the breakout tandem of the league this year."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Uh.. they aren't on the same team. Austin is on Tulsa.Originally posted by SuicaneIm saying that as a tandem, perhaps now they win 10-11 games and Chung gets props alongside Austin. Perhaps it becomes a 1-2 punch when talked about and not just Austin and the rest of the team. Thats what im saying. You have zero tolerance do you?Originally posted by JeffI've realized that many people in this league have a different definition of the word 'breakout' than I do.
