So I was thinking. didn't Jave say he did this because he needed cap space. But am i confused here? Did he not just cause alot of dead cap by trading those 2 players and pick up another Star who he has to sign to a brand new deal by the end of the year who is going to want to get P A I D? lol I seem to remember him naming how he had all these big name players who wanted x amount of dollars and he goes and adds a new one. doesn't that kinda contradict what you said jave? I am just curious.

I can't believe the crying around here, jesus. I wanted a franchise LT, and to free up enough cap space to sign the core of my team. Jeff got a 1st, a replacement LT who's good, no great but good, and Farley who's dangerous but on the downside of his career.
Someone was gonna have to go. Farley 13million, Donovan, 23 million, Wilson 10 million, and Doyle 14 million. That's 60 million dollars between 4 players. Something had to give and the whole point of drafting Erbaugh in the first place at 1.2 was to get a franchise LT. He's dropped 25 points since he was drafted. Adding Troy to this offensive line is a godsent for Wilson.

im not worried about his team or his trade i said i supported it. I just want to know where the retarded explanation came from. im saving cap by getting another star and signing him to a big deal and eating alot of dead cap space the next 2 seasons... just didnt make sense to me. I asked him to explain and here you and jefferey want to come hold his hand so he doesnt have to answer for his gaffe.

maybe it was polak math 2+2=22. I get it.

w/e I won't post another thing in this thread. It's out there that the math was fuzzy the explanation about the reasoning of the trade was pretty much bogus.


P.S.

I would like to know what cap cost next year would have been on the 60LT and the 81 CB vs the 91 LT with the lost cap too. It is going to be my opinion without seeing the 91LT contract he will be getting yet that he didn't save a penny or could have expected to save a penny.

DUDE, get a life ok? You have a ton of draft picks right? You should be focusing on the draft and enjoying your day, jumping in the chat room, checking on trading up, trading down, seeing what offers you might get. Stop worrying so much about me and what I'm doing. This is a game, yes, and I love to get into strategy discussions with my fellow owners, but at some point, some things are best left untold.
