anyone gonna mess with this puppy. I still can't started with 6.5, but 2k7 sure sound promising. I am ashamed to admit that I like the eye candy that this game will be providing.

Markus Heinsohn would have to come to my house and install the game on my computer for me to play it. Last year's version was an effing disaster and I think Markus is a flake.

OOTP2006 was a waste of my money.

2007 is forcing us to pay more money to fix the mistakes made in 2006. I think I'm done with shelling out that kind of money every year for an update.

I'd rather go back to 6.5 any day.

I agree with that about 2006. 2006 was brutal. The UI alone was horrible. I don't care what those who play the soccer game think, they may have gotten used to that style, but i'm tired of learning curves just for interfaces alone. I mean the fact that I couldn't easily find a way to play as a GM for a team was ridiculous, especially since that's the concept of the game. I know there were some type of work arounds to that, but when the concept of the game is running a baseball team and you're only allowed to start off as a FA manager who can only get a job at the minor league level, screw that.

Don't get me wrong, they had some great ideas, especially the one I just mentioned about starting as a manager, but to make that the only starting option was stupid.... unless I missed something right in my face which would make me stupid.

There were a few of those type of issues in the game, just on the UI alone. I honestly couldn't tell you how the actual gameplay was because I just couldn't get by the UI. I used to love the previous versions, but in 06 I didn't even make it far enough to have my first amateur draft, or do any type of GM work. So I will be avoiding paying for 07 completely if they have the same clunky interface.

Think I had the same exact experience that Steve had. Probably in the top 5 for a game that had the least number of hours of playing time from me. Waste of my money & time.

also, i'm not usually one to be in a MP league and then be like "hey guys, let's start another league with this game" cuz it tends to dilute things, but since i like a lot of the people here is there any inclination to start a 2K7 OOTP league? i really don't like playing in random leagues, i don't get any satisfaction competing against complete unknowns, but i just don't get along with many people in a MP capacity like i do in IFL so i'd rather stick with people who don't give me shit. just wondering. i probably wouldn't buy the game unless it was to be in a MP league.

i dont usually go to FOFC unless im looking for a specific piece of FOF info but it does seem to be overly posted....too much yacking...hides the real shit im looking for. 8)

I'd probably be down for a league (like I was last May..), but first I need to be down with the game. I suppose I could just download the demo - shows how bitter I am about last version I guess. I'm too lazy to make a few clicks and wait for a few minutes.
