I myself consider the baseball season to be the (possible) 14 games played for the Championships and World Series and only then if the Red Sox are playing but if this game is great and an IFL spin-off gets started I might be in.

Even though I couldn't find a list of the 92/93 expansion draft I'm pretty sure that Destrade was signed as a free agent. Also looks like the expansion protection is more complex than it is in OOTP. Something like you can protect x amount of players, then you can protect 3 more each subsequent round. At least that's how it looked like it was for the 97/98 draft.

I checked the tech support forum, and the fix in the 'common problems' was something with the DEP settings, but my setting was as it should have been. My computer is between the recommended and minimal specifications.

any more impressions? im on the fence about getting this game or not. i liked the old ootp, but i thought SI butchered EHM so i havent tried their ootp yet.

I really haven't played the game much. :lol:

Mainly because there are some things that need to be patched up. There really isn't a good reason to get the game right now IMO as I don't think it's in a state where you can start a serious career. How long it will be before it reaches that state I don't know. Apparently Markus is dealing with some stress issues, so the consensus seems to be that the first patch will suck donkey balls.

Also, I'm not that impressed with their technical support - they seem to be short-handed in that department. 5 pages of bug threads (going back to 3/24), many that haven't gotten a response.
