To me a better analogy for Hamilton would be Favre. Even if Favre had won a title with the Vikings 2 years ago would anyone really consider him a Viking? I think Hamilton had a long enough and distinguished enough career in Oakland that he's synonymous with that team.

He was IMO a bar room joke until the very end of his career when the whole team was the first to use EAS supplements. Hamilton had it all going with the Lions, thus the Trophy.

He will OBVIOUSLY be in the HOF at some point. It will be interesting to see what team the game places him with, but a good example if you will check is Ernest Martinez. He was with Oakland for 8 years, however won a IFL bowl ring with WVA after spending 4 years with the Beasts(why do I want to call them the Mountaineers?) The game has him retiring with Oakland. Time will tell with Hamilton.

That's not the "punchline", that's the point. The Broncos couldn't win again the NFC's best until they had gathered enough decent players around Elway to do it. Then they ended the NFC's streak and it swing slightly to the AFC. The point is that Elway is somewhere in the top 5-10 QBs of all-time and to say otherwise is just silly talk.

My point is that Elway's career was defined in the last 2 seasons as I think Hamilton's was in Penn.

Romo is one player. The majority of the team started using EAS products right before they won the 2. Elway, T.Davis, Sharpe, Romo all had EAS hats on during interviews despite how awful and out of place they looked.
