  • All Time Player by Team

I've been drving around the world it seems for the past few weeks. I was listening to a sports radio station where they were discussing which player represents what team. Which player identifies which team

    i.e
    Jim Brown - Cleveland Browns
    Lawrence Taylor - NY Giants
    etc.

Got me thinking about our league and the position we're in. It's now 2020, so we've had almost 20 yrs of players.

Thought it would be an interesting discussion for here. 1 player per team. i.e. Nigel Booker could only be Houston or SLC.

While he was considerably more successful in Lansing, and then Pen, I still claim the rights to Hamilton. I drafted him, he spend 7 years in Oakland, more then any other team, and while he didn't get his ring here, he did go to the IFL bowl. I've always felt he was the face of the franchise. Although that may change in the future.

While he was no great shakes, I'm also partial to Ken "Tank" Allmon He played every single down of his career in Oakland and was a ROCK for me. The guy was like, never frikkin hurt either.

that's an interesting discussion with Hamilton.
I view Hamilton as a Lion. I think it's because he kicked my ass in games that I needed to win.
I'd like to hear what others think about Hamilton.

I would say Lansing would have a legitimate grip, but it's not the same owner, so thats another small thing that tips the scales. He was FRIKKIN great in Penn, but again, he was only there for 3 seasons vs my 7.

-QB Corey "Almost never misses the playoffs" Perkins
-MLB Sedrick "The tackle machine" Vance
-K Hugh "The most clutch in all the land" Whiting
-DT J.J. "The beef in the trenches" Johnson

I can't choose. Perkins is obviously the one once he spends his whole career here, but currently the other three have more history.

Elway's career was defined in the last 2 years. I think the same was done with Hamilton. He's a Lion.

I'm torn between Stanfield and The Leash for Lawrence.

Are you on crack? Elway played with the Broncos from 83-98, 15 years. How are you going to use him as an example?

He was IMO a bar room joke until the very end of his career when the whole team was the first to use EAS supplements. Hamilton had it all going with the Lions, thus the Trophy.

Singleton is a good choice. I could throw in Sandord, but DH has set so many records it would almost have to be him.
