2019 Week #13 Discussion

I'm cooking up a special motivational speech to keep you in the IFL after the "I can't compete with the elite gameplanners" rhetoric comes in on Sunday after the Oakland loss.

Been cooking up a special gameplan just for Jester all day. Your going DOWN!!!

Actually that's only HALF true. I have been STARING at my gameplan screen all day, but haven't the slightest idea how I'm going to slow you down LOL.

The NC is just soooo wide open right now. 1 thing that separates Newark from both Tulsa and Lawrence has been our soft schedule. Easiest in the league thus far.

We must win against SLC horsies. We must run the table. We will lose all tie breakers with Lawrence and Tulsa(I think). I want that homefield for the playoffs. I want that chance.

not looking past this week though. I'm very focused on the horsies and glad as hell that the "terror" is out. That guy usually eats me alive!!!!!

I have no miracle gameplan for this one. No tricks up my sleeve, no "gonna trip him up and pass instead of run", no double reverses on 1st down....were just gonna line up and smack Lawrence as hard as we can in the face and may the best team win.
I tried getting fancy with the Tulsa gameplan and look what happened. That was ugly. So were just gonna stick to our regularly scheduled program and hope like hell they have jet lag or get food poisoning. At least enough to even the odds.

I'm sure Jester has completely dissected my team player by player, analyzed every down and formation and is going to exploit every weakness. I'll just line up and play the best football I can. Good luck bro~!

What a relief! The clawz are fighting for their playoff lives, and this was a must-win game. Gus Rome showed up to play after 2 sub-par performances in a row. This one was all about turnovers...The Clawz didn't have any, and the Mules had 3.

Best news of all, Corey Perkins is probable with a very low risk for next weeks game against the Stallions. Look out, the Clawz are almost back to full strength

Well, that was a weird game. For some one of the least penalized teams gets hit with 10 calls, including a few that destroyed 2 drives putting us at like 1st and 30+.

This brought on the ridiculous game mechanic "The defense looked very familiar with the play" to come into play late in the 2nd qtr, which allowed me to shut down the game viewer knowing my offense was done for the day.

I know WVA was 11-0, but this still hurts as it my perfect opportunity to claw back into the playoff picture. 7-5 with them out of the way would have been HUGE since both Murf and Anc lost, but now 2 games back with 4 to go (not counting tiebreakers) is a pretty impossible feat.

Both teams have a pretty cupcake schedule the rest of the way, so that pretty much seals my season.

GG WVA. If my season had to end now, I'm glad it was at the hands of an undefeated team.
