Very happy with the win today over SLC. They are a much improved team with Jacobs. GG VITO!

It seems like the offseason moves we made for the defense are really paying off.

We didn't have RB Charles Bell today but his backup Perry Johnston did a helluva job filling in for him.

The offense is playing real well with Irby leading the charge. Completing almost 80% of his passes with 10 TD's and no INT's so far.

Were off to face struggling Tulsa next week. Hopefully, we can go in there and pull out a win.

SIGH....at least we scored points? Hell last year we weren't scoring, this year were not defending. It does show signs of improvement. I'm not sure what happened in the second half. Penn was slick, they were behind and in the second half, I don't think I gameplanned for that. I haven't led in a game in so long I probably dropped the ball on that haha.

With SLC losing, the division title is still up for grabs. I will make some second half adjustments and try to improve for next week.

Glad we got the win but I wasn't thinking we would get it.
Game like this are just great to win... just really keep you on the edge of your seat and yelling at the computer.

Opie put in another great preformance, earning OPoW honors. Now that we have Mullin, Im curious to see what we can sceme up for the rest of the season

I think the biggest frustration of this game is not knowing who is causing penalties. I had like 6 offensive holds this game, and no clue who did them.

But to survive all those penalties, and 10 fumbles lost shows my team is building some character. Hopefully it can carry over to next week.

Houston made big plays and TDs California made FGs off the turnovers. Difference in the game, that and the Hero D is made up of marshmellowmen or something. 30+ allowed each week - UGLY

Richard to Beckner was an automatic 20+ play and the Renegades had that whenever they wanted it. Third down D don't get me started - lol

Houstons lack of disicpline was a huge factor, but they mostly managed to overcome with big plays. 6 passes completed for 20+ and 5 long passes completed including a 92yard TD, with 70+ yac if I remember right.


California had their first lead of the season, 3-0 at the 6:43 mark of the first quarter - yeah!

Peko caught a TD pass in the 4th to put California ahead. Was pleased to be so competitive in this game. But the California D was the California D and the lead could not be held, and the O was not up too the task of retaking the lead. Got up too midfield late in fourth. Then Schwartz tossed a late pick to seal the loss.

Will hopefully be able too take advantage of the bye week. We shall see.
