Rules won't fix what some people believe is a 'problem'.

I don't think it's a problem that teams keep their top players, as most NFL teams do. How many top notch players do you see hit the market each year in the NFL? Not many.

Again the problem I brought up was being able to grossly over pay a player to outbid someone else for him and you can get him to reneg the contract way down and never have to honor the original deal that you HAD to offer to get him in the first place.

It won't pass but its encouraging to see that the vote is close and people know something should be done outside the game to try and correct the problem.

When Jeff brought this up last time i didn't really pay too much attention to the problem. I think i had real life shit going on at the time that quite frankly i just didn't care about it at that moment. I wished i would have been more vocal about it then.

Maybe this will get brought up again if no new game comes out in the near future because this problem really takes some enjoyment out of the game.

To be successful in this league you better draft well. If you don't, your screwed.

Would solve some issues, but I can definatly see some balking as guys have set their teams up without this as a consideration. Still there it is
