yeah dude, it was a good game. Sorry to hear that your stuff was messed up. Hate winning like that. Hopefully (or maybe not), it won't matter in the middle of the year when we meet again and the division will be on the line.

I went into the game hoping to stop your running game, and i was able to. I think that keyed my win. I had some huge defensive stops on 3rd and short. I think my defense came to play this week. Hopefully, they won't fall apart like they did last year down the stretch.

      Good game Kozure.
Found my error ... WR Rufus Crowell was 'redlined' by the game because he is out with a broken arm. Unfortunately, I did not check him because of the redline and assumed he was inactive as well . He was still active and I did not deactivate him. So with that blunder, the IFL merry-go-round reshuffled all of my carefully planned line-ups and had players playing out of the desired position and level of depth. I can't believe that I missed that. Damn! But as they say if France, "C'est la vie" and with that, looking to another day, next Sunday.

Now we start run of 7 of our next 9 games are at home. Not sure if I like that since 5 of my last six are on the road. Yikes. If I'm going to run at the division, I'm going to need to pad my record right now and hold on at the end.

That was exciting from the opening drive right to the end. Tulsa and Texas always seem to have great games. That was Texas's 1st opening win in about 5 years. Good luck this year and see you next game.
Fixed that for you. I am Little Rock. I was just commenting on my fellow division rivals' game. I will forgive you though because you are probably still the best owner that Texas has had.

Alonzo Lake is an absolute stud. That man can just dominate the defensive side of the ball.

haha, he was Tulsa though. The man who at least had the good judgment to name his team the Cows.

Texas would be the one and only Bigwood. The man who only had eyes for IHOF and spent all his time there just trying to get into the league, therefore mostly ignoring a damn good league right here.

Our website wasn't as pretty then though, maybe he had a hardon for that.

I can't agree more that the you stuffed the runnning game ... but here is the rest of the story ...

RB Nelson was set in my lineup card as my #5 receiver and a gunner. He was not classified as a RB in any part of my line-ups. The game removed him from both the receiver and the gunner positions but inserted him as the #1 RB. Nelson got 17 of the 21 carries and the rest is history.

Don't plan to see Nelson again, unless I make another colossal goof again.

Haha, Jeff tried all year to get me to trade him Bailey. The guy isn't a stud or nothing but he is perfect for my gameplans. And he doesn't ask the world to resign(look at the deal he signed last year!). He is basically untradeable!!

Was just looking at gridiron greta and she has Chad Harding as the second most careful QB in the game. Wonder if this 56 rating he has now is just a fluke, like scouting error just skyrocketed on him and he is still a pretty high rated QB. Only time will tell, i guess.

All i know is that he played pretty well against Norfolk.

I didn't realize how many bombs Jacobs was going to hurl, but they kept paying off. Gutsy win for this young team for sure. Run blocking was pisspoor, but that's more due to Anchorage's defense than anything. Now let's see if we can get some momentum to get some people into the stands.

"untradable" is just an unmotivated counter-offer.

Ok....there are days I don't really understand this game. Our "on paper" ridiculous secondary came away with 4 picks on Alvin Mann who seems to me to be a solid QB. Then, we just couldn't stop the Power, only to overtake them on a 47 yard bomb to McCellion with time running out on the clock. From a guy (Lara) who can't really throw the long ball effectively. Way too many, "into double coverage...caught" comments. I though double coverage was to prevent catches. I know it happens but really...this often?

Ok...so I complain...but still win...problem is....I don't know exactly what I did to win, maybe just shelf the game film and hope for some more luck next week?

                              Sheesh...If I'm Pittsburgh...I a bit fumed!

                              But i'm not Pittsburgh.

Nice way to start off the season with a win of Hartford. Special teams was the difference today.
