I am hoping we have made enough changes to make somewhat of an improvement over last year. However, we usually get whooped by Newark.

Arnold Greene Vs. Alonzo Lake to start things off. It'll be good to get some immediate data on that matchup.

On the other side of the ball Virgil's new weapons will go to work against a new Phantoms secondary, one who I fear will be torched for 500+ at some point this season.

The Harding bust took a little bit of the wind from our sails this year, but we will try to claw our way to as many wins as possible. No better way to start the year than with Norfolk. Might as well see where we are at right off the bat.

Even with the Harding incident, the WV team has plenty to bring. After an attempt to gameplan the first game of the season, I fnd that the WV team looks to be playoff calibre from top to bottom. Not to mention that this is also the first game of the season ... with no way to get a trend on tendencies. This game is up for grabs and is even in my books.

Good luck Kozure ... I think the winner has the early stake in the ground for claiming the division.

Gotta love all the great divisional match-ups this week.

From top to bottom ... great football in the IFL.

Ok, I am watching my game. I am very unhappy with whatever I did. I have a different memory of a defensive plan. I knew Georgia would be running that rookie at me and they have. Except my defense has been expecting pass on every play. Georgia comes out and gets a TD on the first drive, led by the rookie Bryant. I new I should have traded up to get that guy.

Bryant Turner's first IFL drive for Georgia, 8 rushes for 40 yards and a TD. Nice start for a rookie. I am very unhappy with my defensive calling though.

Oakland comes out strong with a win in week 1 vs a division opponent! Taking care of business, the rookies show why they were 2 of the top 4 picks in the draft, dominating and each comming away with a pick. Bailey also runs over, around and through the paper thin Reno defense for 186 yards! Not a bad start to the year!!

Got really lucky with turnovers today only losing 1 fumble out of 4. Caro was great though, which was good because the running game sucked. May regret trading kruse before the end of the year. All in all, good win. GG Cali.
