Gah.. I have to be honest and admit that I didn't think we'd win, but Virgil having a pass intercepted in the end-zone early in the game was heartbreaking.

Louie Doyle and Kenneth Reeg both injured, with Doyle going down for 8 weeks. There goes my passrush.

I pity Virgil for not getting anyone to throw to. With Logan out he had to go to Wheeler time and time again and oh what a pitiful situation that is.

Anyways, Lawrence is a great team, so it's not as if we lost to a bottom dweller

we come away with a tight win against Orlando. I thought we'd try and smash them down.......didn't work as well as I'd hoped. We did have some drive killing penalties and a TD called back. My defense played pretty good today too.

The game changed my roster significantly, activated and deactivated players not desired, changed the depth charts that were unrecognizable to my plan ... I don't know what happened. Lost to WV and have no excuses ... this is a rookie blunder on my part. I'm just upset that it had to happen vs. WV.

              Good game Kozure.

Just another stupid game. Wanna know why we were in run agro all the time on 3rd down. Other than that had too many fumbles and our secondary is going to get scorched alot this year it looks like. Double teams don't seem to work...

I've got my eyes on Oakland this year..........as a fan. I'm very interested to see how those young young players progress. Nice win there too against a playoff team from last year.

                    GG Matt.

I am surprised we were able to keep it close. I made some mistakes on the offensive side gameplanning that I will tweak for next week and see if that opens up Mueller a bit more. However, I need to get the rookie WR's in play more. 2nd year TE Kimble did well and moving Kendall Clark to SLB from WLB proved a good move too.

Solid win against Georgia. The defense played more normal after that first drive and the rookie RB for the Generals only added another 19 yards on 10 more carries. My running game was pretty rough looking, though Dixon did have 2 carries over ten yards, so it isn't totally dead. Penberthy punched another goalline TD in for us, I love that overachiever.

Our top draft pick was thrown into the fire like a first rounder would be. Two special teams tackles, became the #1 TE for the next four weeks when Lionel Fields went down with a concussion, he recovered both fumbles we had on offense, and had a few receptions.

Also happy with the mixed up LB corps. With Barber out of town, Bell moved from WLB to SLB this season and played great. Cortez swaps spots with Cloninger this year going to SILB instead of WILB. He needs some more experience but he did well.

Good game David, you played a solid game and it was actually closer then the score to me.

Tulsa lost a heartbreaker to Texas. I flipped the viewer over to that at the end and Texas nailed a 57 yard FG to send it into OT, then takes the ball first and scores.

Not sure if I am happy about that or not.

Oh and that Edward Jacobs - Andre Thomason combo in Los Angeles.

                          :thewave:

That is a dangerous combo I think hawkster has been wanting since he drafted those guys 3 years ago.

That was exciting from the opening drive right to the end. Tulsa and Texas always seem to have great games. That was Texas's 1st opening win in about 5 years. Good luck this year and see you next game.

I didn't watch the game but Madison looks to be showing why I picked them to rep the NC this season putting up 45 points to start.

I was looking at Bailey when gameplanning last night and thought "What could I offer to pull this guy from Jave?". Looks like any potential price just went up.

                              Sorry for that, Coder.

As can be seen from my predictions I had this pegged as Vermont's year so it's great to guarantee at least a split in the season series.

Virgil definitely needs some weapons. I thought he'd pick apart my secondary all day by just staying away from Peavy. Turns out I saw Peavy's name at least a couple of times.

Good luck the rest of the way!

Lake looks to have won the personal match-up holding Greene to 57 yards and picking off a Stanfield pass.
