Well I am one sterp closer to my goal of wining a playoff game. I am concerned that Downer is doubtful. He didn't play a snap this week even though he was listed as a starter. I dont' have a good backup fo rhim at the moment, I may need to make some moves in a effort to beef up my playoff line. Or I might swing my 2nd round pick into that spot.

Tough luck db, was hoping we would meet again this year.

Congrats to Norfolk and Law on 15-1. Not easy to do. I hope I get a shot at giving Norfolk their second loss of the season. I think I'm the third seed, so that may not happen until the AC Champ game. Better concentrate on getting there first.

No idea who The Hives are. I was thinking more Will Smith (though I didn't quote the song directly).

This is one time my memory didn't fail me. The examples after 3rd place started to be plentiful so I just focused on the extreme ones.

St. Louis' is the strangest one. I wouldn't think it possible to go +20 in TO's and not make the playoffs.

I'm just bitter, don't mind me.

the STL example is a strange one. We always used to be near the top of that chart.

Congrats to all playoff teams ... especially the newbies.

Looking at the overall records ... the AC had three teams with records worse than 7-9.

Interestingly enough, the NC had eight teams with records worse than 7-9.

... just an observation & probably doesn't mean anything.

Warhammer, I don't mind keeping our dirty laundry in the family ... just so long as participating in the Imperial Bowl remains an AC East tradition. Four years and still counting.

stinks to have one of the best defenses in the league and finish 10-6 and get a trip to the couch...but the upside is our defense looks strong and will return. my offense has a nice core on the OL and a solid young QB. we should be back strong next year.

I despise Hartford. No matter what we do, we just never get it done against them.

Today's MVP should have been P Morris Boutin. He pinned us inside our own 10 four times.

Should have come out passing more. Couldn't do much running the ball this game. Not sure what I could have done differently, however, that would have won the game for us. We didn't do much right. Good luck in the playoffs everyone. I'll be there soon.

We made the playoffs! Wow! Now if we can just do something in the post season... Congrats to all playoff teams and good luck.

4-4 the 2nd half of the season (3-5 the 1st half) and ending the season with a gutsy 9-38 performance.

I guess a 3-5 first half is respectable.

Hmmm...went with the same defense that nullified the Grizzlies and just got slaughtered by the Power... Best game I think they had all season... Mann was insane 24-27 for 336 yards, and 4 TD's. His passing rating was 147.5???! We couldn't stop them and we really wanted to run the ball. We keep coming back to the same conclusion. Patterson is not the answer in Dakota. We will need to draft a QB, or give Lara a full season to see if he can be the Spirit's Savior.
