TRIVIA BYTES WEEKEND PREVIEW ... THE LAST WEEK of the REGULAR SEASON  AC NORTH - CLEVELAND (8-7) meets WICHITA (9-6) and IOWA CITY (9-6) meets MONTREAL. A division champ will be crowned and mathematically, a wild card can still emerge from this division.
 AC SOUTH - HOUSTON (10-5) plays ST. LOUIS (8-7). MURFREESBORO (9-6) plays LOUISIANA. If Houston wins they earn the division title. If they lose and the Mules win, MURFREESBORO will win the division. If Houston loses, they play musical chairs with the other ten win teams for a play off berth. If Houston wins, Murfreesboro hopes that the other wild card is decided amonst teams with nine wins. ST. LOUIS (8-7) must beat LOUISIANA and the hope for "needle in the haystack" combination of other teams' win/loss records that would miraculously open the magic door for the Cardinals. After looking at all this, I have a major head ache trying to figure things out.
 AC EAST - NORFOLK (14-1) has the home field bye in the American Conference.
 AC WEST - ANCHORAGE (11-4) plays ALBUQUERQUE. PORTLAND (11-4) plays CALIFORNIA. An Anchorage win will award the Lynx the division championship and also the second first-round bye. A Anchorage loss and a Portland win give the division and the bye to the Seals. If unsuccessful to win the division, then Anchorage or Portland will earn a wild card and the #5 seed. If both Anchorage and Portland lose, this opens the door for a Houston bid for the bye .. but we don't have the fortitude to plot that scenario out tonight.
 NC NORTH - MADISON (10-5) plays LANSING for the division championship. The loser gets a wild card berth.
 NC SOUTH - LITTLE ROCK (13-2) has the second bye locked in the National Conference.
 NC EAST - LAWRENCE (14-1) has the home field bye locked in the National Conference. VERMONT (9-7) has a wild card berth locked. Both play each other in a rather meaningless game.
 NC WEST - see Jeff's note below re: VANCOUVER and OAKLAND. My head ache isn't getting any better.
