Week 15 Discussion

we feel we got ripped in this game.... i hope iowa city is thankful for our gift fumble at the end because we didn't play like we wanted this game.

We really don't care if we make the playoffs we really aren't a good team. witcha is playing the best right now and deserves the division. iowa city is a more rounded team than we are so they could pull out a wild card spot.

Second part: This is the AC North. We talk trash regardless of how good we are. You keep that kind of talk up and me and db might have to agree on kicking you out of the Trash Division. And that just ain't right, us agreeing.

you want to see ripped off...30-3 against MTL...held them to 2 first downs and 62 yds of offense...gave the FG up on a damn interception return that put them in range...lost my shutout...

i will admit that the snow probably hurt MTL's attempts to pass...

As for being ripped off. I think with a combined total of 8 turn overs, and 2 missed field goals, and a one point difference, there really can't be a "rip off" since we both had plenty of opportunities to win.

Huge game for us this weekend as we travel to Madison. If we really want to make the playoffs, we HAVE to beat a playoff team.

You'd almost need a miracle to get into the playoffs. The only way I think is if you were the only 9-7 WC team. That is a lot of necessary help.

No home field advantage for Houston. 48,000 in attendance for that team is horrible. The VooDoo offense bails out another horrible defensive showing. Ch, ch, changes...

I hate the attendance in this game. I've been to the playoffs for 2 straight years, leading the division and still selling fewer tickets than my 6-10 season. My prices are on par with the rest of the league afaik.

Crap, I just now saw that the week 15 games where ran a few days ago. I was stuck in the Arkansas mountains and didn't even remember, and couldnt check the board. I just submitted a gameplan for week 15 tonight.

Good thing was that I didn't really make too many changes so the results would have been pretty much the same either way possibly.

It was an ugly game, but I will take it. I am just not real impressed with Given this year when he has been playing. Dixon is the man, if he retires I am not sure Given can carry the load.

Wow! What a game! It looked like neither offense could be stopped for much of the game. Or at least it seemed that way. It looked like NFK was going to pull it out, especially after they tied the game late. That pass interference call by Alsup was a killer. Then, we drive right downfield and look like we're going to kick an FG to steal the win, and then two sacks push us out of FG range. I'm sure Fonseca took that return and just ran that ball straight into the locker room!

That was one heck of a game!

I just noticed this in the records. 62 yards of offense? Wow. Not a single Montreal drive of more than 4 plays.
