That was a frustrating game to watch. Penalties and fumbles killed us on important drives. It was only 3-0 going into the 4th quarter where we tend to always implode! Ramey is out for 2 weeks...so basically...he'll rest out the rest of the season and beef up for next year. We've stalled with 5 wins...We end against Warhammer and Biggs...Bring it on!MIAMI VICE - 2074

AC North 3 way now for two spots.
If I can find a way past Little Rock, life is good.
we feel we got ripped in this game.... i hope iowa city is thankful for our gift fumble at the end because we didn't play like we wanted this game.
We really don't care if we make the playoffs we really aren't a good team. witcha is playing the best right now and deserves the division. iowa city is a more rounded team than we are so they could pull out a wild card spot.GM Cleveland Clawz

i'll probably split my next two games 1-1. most likely i'll lose against Reno and beat Portland, cuz conventional wisdom would suggest the opposite would be more likely. or, i could lose both games. still, this team was weird this season. only team to pitch a shutout not once, but 2 times. has that ever been done before in this league? 2 shutouts? what's funny is it's 2 shutouts by a non-playoff contending team.
wish we were playing like this early on in the season. i'd really love to be at least 7-7 right now and be right in the thick of the playoff race. at this point all i'm doing is giving myself a worse spot in the draft order. why did Portland have to be the last team i face? i would have loved to have tanked that final game, but now we gotta show up and keep up our reputation as big game hunters.

No way there hasn't been a team with more than one shutout. I'll look.
Edit: Norfolk did it in 2006. My Fire did it in 2004. Reno in 2004. Iowa City in 2005. Montreal in 2006. Iowa City in 2007.Last edited by sovstar; 10-18-2007, 09:19 PM."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

I hope we never see an undefeated season. An undefeated season should be the unattainable holy grail to always be shot for and always fall short.Originally posted by jeff View PostNice attempt at the undefeated season, r00k. Always give you (and the rest of the league) something to shoot for in the future.
Hopefully a lot of GMs were just waiting to see what 2k7 would be like and this off-season will see a lot of moves in an effort to get a more balanced league again where 12-13 wins is the most in the IFL.
