COme back from a spanking by Pittsburgh to spank Montreal on the road. I had 3 TD's and then Montreal started to cough up the ball with the straight fumbles, giving me two FGs.

Rookie safety Buddy Forbes with a big, although odd, day. From his backup and nickel role he is in on only 27 plays but leads the team with 6 tackles, has 1 assist, 1/2 a sack, and forces a fumble. Nice day kid.

Rushing game was horrible again.

More talk later. I just stopped to get the files, drop some mini Hartford helmets, and get driving again. Gotta hurry up and poop, NFL games are starting soon.

also, how much longer have you been in this league than me? just wondering, not like i'm trying to insinuate that all things being equal you've had much longer than myself to assemble a better roster.

*i* suck? you've been in the league how much longer than i? you've had the benefit of the inaugural draft, and stockpiling years and years of cohesion. you go to the Imperial Bowl last year and all of a sudden you're gameplan guru, a wise old sage who dispenses your knowledge. from where i see i've made more of an immediate impact on my franchise. in 2.5 seasons i've taken the team to their highest spot in the division (#2), most wins in a season and have the best players in the league at several positions. just a matter of time at this point.

I be happy I won. I just am totally excited about Frankie and Manny. Today again they played terrific, and Dwight Burger was on point. Statistically we are a fantastic team, though I understand that the only stat that matters is that little thing called 'WINS'. We're 3rd in total yards gained, and 5th in points scored. Our defense is 8th in yards given up. Obviously our big problem is fumbling, causing TO's and scores.

I'm happy with the way we've been playing lately. Hopefully this will translate into success next year. This will be a rough offseason, as we could lose a lot of starters.

and therein lies the joke with you. Who knows what the heck you see in these games. Evidently throwing deep to a single player in a losing effort is an accomplishment but wins aren't.

Yeah, it was that glitch in the personnel pages because I had to restart everything from scratch after the loss of all my info. I missed 2 formations.

Good lord. I know Jim is aware of this. Last I heard (from Kozure I think) he was just blowing it off. Going to report it again.

Up 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. We are able to hang on to top Pittsburgh 41-35 and all of a sudden there is a buzz in Boston. If only we could have won one of those games against Norfolk where we were close all day and that damn Cleveland game.
