Gonna be a new landscape in the IFL next season? I like the late season life from some teams.

ggod game jester.
I wouldn't be hard on yourself. You've got no OLine nor secondary (past D-Dog).

First of all...
Our gameplan almost worked. I tried to take the air out of the ball all day long and keep Finger off the field. Then with 2 minutes left, we locked into a hurry up offense and Patterson started throwing bombs that coverage hadn't seen for four quarters. I couldn't believe it when we pulled ahead with 58 seconds left.
Reminded me of watching that Dallas/Buffalo game last week...Just what do I have to do to beat these guys. block kicks, intercept passes...I'd love to say that kick return was bogus, but...that's the way the game is played. And our team couldn't stop them one more time.
Congrats Norfolk...it's good to know our defense can play with the big boys..and most of them are only in their first year.
Second of all...why do we have to hear the broken record out in California. Nobody would be scrutinizing HA if he hadn't have excessively bragged about how good his team was. Now just be quiet...stop making excuses and try building your team like the rest of us that took over depleted franchises and are attempting to make something at some point over the next 10 years or so... Portland, Lawrence and Norfolk won't be good forever...and then they will be forced to figure out...do I keep playing Caro and company or go younger...and when do I absolutely have to make that call for the good of the franchise.
Ok...now I think I'm rambling...MIAMI VICE - 2074

Bah. It's the game, c'mon!Originally posted by Argot View PostI'd love to say that kick return was bogus, but...that's the way the game is played. And our team couldn't stop them one more time.
"We stuck with them all day long and they didn't get jack on any of their previous returns, BUT all of the sudden the comeback code comes into play and they return one deep into our territory and score late. Norfolk was destined to win the game. Just like they are destined to go 19-0 this season. Stupid game.""Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

It's not very fun to meOriginally posted by JesterBlaze View PostFun-fact: Houston leads the AC South by 2 games yet can't win in their division.
Tiebreakers are not very much in my favor. Must keep winning.
Speaking of which, sorry Orlando. I can't stop a locomotive at full speed. My guys are pumped at their upcoming revenge weeks vs Stl and LouSteve Beans - Houston Renegades

DT Xavier Bridges is perhaps one of my best draft picks ever. His rating bars are not too sexy, but he sure plays well. He was a 2.7 pick last year, and is paying off. He returned a fumble for a TD today in the Toad's win.
In his second season he leads all my d-linemen in tackles with 34 (and 16 assists), has 5 sacks somehow, 5 forced fumbles and 2 recoveries.
DE Andrew Kinney, taken at 1.7 that same draft by me, had a better rookie year. This season though Bridges is statistically better. A big part may be the position experience rating though. Bridges started the season with the highest 'red' rating. Kinney is still sitting at 'yellow' for his position. After starting 16 games last year and 13 this year, Kinney's yellow rating is starting to bug me. I don't remember if that changes mid-season though. My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
