thanks. It was a tough loss. We started out so poorly that I think if we had come out of the gate a little better we would have taken it. The first half, offensively we were just plain terrible, but that was a hell of a defense we were going up against. In the second half, we dominated, just couldn't stop them in overtime.

It was one of the better games I've watched in a while. Too bad I got the loss. I'll be back next year. Then the year after next, I'll have a crap load of money to retool, so I expect the Denver Death to be around for a very long time.

Dakota, hell of a game ... special teams was the goat and then the hero ... two blocked field goals ... damn ... but the 71 yard kickoff return at the end made up. I thought it was lost after your go ahead TD with just about a minute left. Damn good game ... hats off to you.

          Now where is that champagne!

with this past game, WR Nathan Mullin became the 1st Hero to top 1,000 receiving yards (only the 2nd time a Hero has surpassed that mark, btw) since Reuben Caffrey did it. Mullin is also only 54 receiving yards away from setting the record for most receiving yards by a Heroes WR. this kid is gonna go on to do some great things for the organization.

            congrats, Nathan.

damn, caulk this up as another loss where I feel I outplayed my opponent. I think at one point I had seven penalties over a two drive span, killing a quality scoring chance when I had 2 false starts and a holding call in two plays.

Good game Madison. You contained Kersey in his comeback game. But I'm getting more and more impressed with Chad Harding. He's beginning to look like he has the potential of a stud.

Caffrey topped 1,000 last year for you. So Mullin is the first to top 1,000 since last season. Spectacular! LOL

Holy crap. What an ending. 8 seconds left. No timeouts. Tulsa 11 yard line. Complete pass to the receiver who has killed me today. Pass good for 10 yards.

                  Woo Hoo!.

And I'm still in the playoff hunt.

St. Louis got bass-taped!!! Thanks in large part to Tobias Stanfield's 90+ yards rushing in a surprise bugs bunny play-all-positions effort!

Phantoms have now gone undefeated at home for 3 straight seasons!!!

Norfolk/Dakota had one of the most insane endings in IFL history! Awesome!!

it's only been done twice in the organization's history.

no coincidence that the QB for both of our WR's 1,000 seasons was none other than Dennis Collela.

awesome things have happened since i've taken over the team. teams, especially the top teams we seem to topple, actually have to gameplan against us.

also, i didn't ever have a 1,000 yard receiver when i was in IHOF as far as i remember. i would spread the ball around and do a lot of dump-offs to the RB.

by the time Mullin's career is over he's gonna be in the top 3, if not the top overall guy, for all purpose yards. what a weapon.

                            lethal.

listen, the only thing worse than not making the playoffs is not making the playoffs and not being able to generate headlines. ok, so we don't make the postseason this year, but at least Nathan Mullin is having a standout season and is giving the talking heads something to conversate about.
