Hey Jeff, remember that game where Vito scored like 21 points in 2 minutes and knocked you out of the playoffs? Good times.

Game time decision had the Spirit choosing QB, Jorge Best to start. Went 12-14 with a TD and about 176 yards, so they pulled him and put Willoughby in for the second half. WHY????!!!!
It was our game, penalty called back a TD from the 1 yard line, had to settle for a FG, that was the difference.
Best might be causing a bit of a QB controversy for next year.MIAMI VICE - 2074

Good game to you.Originally posted by CringerSorry Tulsa, no sweep of the Toads for you this year. That makes Little Rock 11-3 all-time against the Tulsa (fill in nicknames here). I guess that defense worked, as Bess was held to getting less them 50% of the 16 passes thrown his way.
You did hold up your promise about the injuries though. I lost my #2 TE for 30 weeks. I can live with that. The big injury is only one week long, but has me worried though. I lost Devin Bell for 1 week, out with a strained calf muscle. With two starting LB's already out, Bell makes three gone for my wild card game against Oakland. :?
My guys mailed it in. Very uninspired play.
Sorry about your guys that I hurt.

We'll see what we can do in the playoffs. LB situation is a little rough for this first week against Oakland, not sure how that will effect things. Hopefully not too much, our DB's and pressure by the front 3 have been two of the biggest keys to having the second fewest points scored against us.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

I must say that that 4th quarter was crazy. . .Good thing I didn't watch it on the viewer, I think I would have completly lost my mind. . and needed at least a triple-bypass.Originally posted by eckmanWe pretty much hand Iowa the game, this was easily a game we should have won. We aren't a playoff team anyway and pretty banged up. Iowa can probably go farther than we could so good luck to them.
We played hot and cold this year we add a few pieces next year and we could be back in the playoffs.
You had me scared with that win streak you had in the end, wasn't sure I could hold you off. But I go into the playoffs with all my starters, for this year, anyway, ready to take on Norfolk. I think it is about time that I won a playoff game.2005 AC North Division Champions

Eight teams still looking for their first division crown (Montreal, Murfreesboro, Boston, & California in the AC. Dakota, Lansing, Texas and Vancouver in the NC. Some of these teams look to be on the verge of creating some smoke next year.

Thanks for the props. I went back and forth with how we should attack you guys today. I ultimately decided that with Lozier out, we could afford to play fairly conservative and still win. Leave it to our defense and let the offense capitalize when given the chance. Thankfully, the guys pulled through.Originally posted by r00kWarhammer ...
A great game ... a win for us would have been a treat, but your team prevailed, as it should have, against a team without its index "finger" on its hand.
Also, congrats on your well deserved & first ever division championship ... I look forward to a long and exciting rivalry to emerge for many a good game to come ... perhaps again this year ... which would be sweet indeed.
The ex-Hartford QB, Mulcahy played his heart out for us and Hickman was oustanding for you. Have a nice week off.
I really enjoyed seeing Mulcahy play well. He did a great job for us filling in for Hickman last year. He just doesn't make mistakes which is all you can ask for from a backup QB.
Unfortunately, you guys didn't have Lozier for most of the season, but I'll take that if it is the difference between me winning the division and getting the WC again. I got to hand it to you guys, you guys played great after making the switch to Mulcahy. I thought after both Lozier and Brown went down you guys would be toast, but you guys turned it on and made the race closer than it should have been!
My only concern about the future is that some parts of this team are really built for FOF2k4, and I wonder how they are going to translate to FOF2k7, but we should hopefully be able to see this rivalry be strong for the next few years. For the record, NFK and HAR are 7 and 7 all-time against one another. Only one team with more than 3 games against NFK has a better record and that is Murphreesboro, of all teams with a 3-1 record against NFK. Let's see who gets that 8th win three weeks from now!

Congratulations to Lawrence and Portland for setting an IFL regular season record with 14 wins during the regular season. Pittsburgh and Hartford tied the old record with 13 wins on the season.
Hartford and Lawrence become the 4th and 5th teams to sweep their divisions in a season.

Thanks to all the forms of "congrats" that I'm too impatient to quote!
Rockwell has another good performance, leading us to a 28-3 win with two rookie starters at WR while Stanfield was on the bench eying the playoffs.
Phantoms have now won what I think is an IFL best ever 12 straight and 16 straight at home... welcome to Broke As Fuck Field NFC post-season rivals.
