TRIVIA BYTES SUPER SEVEN - Week 11
All games are divisional dream matchups, and
All games are first time meetings for both teams this year, and
All teams will meet their opponent again in the last week of the season.
Thursday's games clearly seem to be the games that begin to sketch the playoff landscape for all divisions.
 #7 - Cleveland (4-5) at Iowa City (5-4) . Simple, Cleveland ,with a win, ties the Snipe Hunters' record but leaves Iowa City in first because of of the Snipes' better division record. Both teams have difficult schedules after this game with Iowa facing Madison, Norfolk, and Lansing. Cleveland has to play Pittsburgh, Madison and Lansing. It is probably that both of these teams will still be tied in knots and be tied going into Game 2 between them on the last week of the regualar season.
Momentum favors the Snipe Hunters as the Claws have lost their last four games. But what do they say about an animal that is cornered?
 #6 - Pittsburgh (7-2) at Lansing (5-4) . Looking at their remaining schedules, it is not that unreasonable if we find both of these teams run the table and then meet in the season finale. This week's game, a future game between Pitt and Madison and the finale between these two teans will be the key games that should decide the division championship.
Momentum heavily favors the Power. The Orgres have lost their last four games. If they lose one more time, TB believes that they are out of the playoffs.
 #5 - Little Rock (6-3) at Tulsa (5-4) . Can you believe that we have a game this strong at the # 5 slot ... that is how strong this week's line-up is! The Division is on the line and winner will take control over the division. Tulsa needs to win as they have the likes of Hartford, Salt Lake City, Norfolk and Columbia on their dance card. The only blue chippers that the Toads have yet to play are Norfolk and the rematch with Tulsa.
Momentum favors the Toads. The playing cards seem stacked against the Tulsa Cows ... but if they can find that magic from their first games of the season, watch out.
 #4 - St. Louis (5-4) at Murfreesboro (6-3) . Two hot teams. The Cardinals may have waited a tad too long to get hot. But, if they continue to play and win like thay have shown the last couple of weeks, they just might find themselves with a wild card berth ... then, you better watch out. Murfreesboro is a scarry team and can still taste the possibility of division champaine now that Houston also has some injury issues.
Momentum favors the Cardinals but not by much. We think that gameplanning will be the deciding difference in this game. The wits of two seasoned managers will provide a very entertaining game.
 #3 - Anchorage (6-3) at Portland (8-1) . Portland found that it was not safe to walk where angels fear to tread ... the land of Californication. They will need to rebound against Anchorage a franchise that has a patent on duct tape as they have miraculously managed to stay competitive with the injuries that they have had and continue to have. Far flung as it might have been before the Portland loss last week, it is not unreasonable for the Lynx to dream about defending their division championship. However, losing on Thursday will dash those dreams, big time. Win and they are only one game behind the Seals.
As strange as this might sound, momentum favors the Seals as they try to take all their frustration out on the Lynx.
 #2 - Salt Lake City (5-4) at Oakland (7-2) . A game between two teams in the TOP 10. Salt Lake broke into the elite group at #10 this week and Oakland vaulted to the lofty #2 slot. As in the other games this week, this provides a chance for the second place team in the division to set themselves up for a division championship game at the end of the regular season, but only if they win this week. Oakland has been a treat to watch this year ... this will be the strongest test within their division, and a win will show the world that they are worthy of the #2 ranking overall.
Momentum favors the Devils as they have only stumbled to Houston and Madison. The Renegades recent play reminds us of their pre-season hype and that predicted for them to finish above the Devils. Well, boys its time to show me yours if I show you mine.

THE GAME OF THE WEEK.
:!: #1 - Norfolk (8-1) at Hartford (7-2) . #1 vs. #6 for the right to claim a hold of the AC East.
Hartford misses injurred QB Hickman ... he is listed as probable with a knee injury. Norfolk will start Finger Lozier who has been out for the last three weeks. ADVANTAGE: Norfolk.
Hartford has logged the most wins against Norfolk and most of those wins were on Grizzly turf. The game is at Hartford. ADVANTAGE: Hartford.
Hartford's QB Hickman is their only injurred impact player. Norfolk has T Aguilera, RB Brown, & WR Killough. All are listed as probable but last minute decisions on playing time will be made for all. ADVANTAGE: None.
Head coaches T.J. Palmateer and Howard Mooberry have met only twice before. Palmateer was head coach of Salt Lake City on both of those occasions. They split those games. This will be the first time that Palmateer will lead the Grizzlies against Mooberry. ADVANTAGE: Slight edge for Hartford, with their coaching upgrade from the previous head coach that faced Norfolk in the past. .
This game may come down to special team play. Keep an eye on Hartford's K Alonzo Booher who has kicked 21 field goals in 22 attempts. Norfolk's Percy Brenner may provide some electricity on punt and kickoff returns. ADVANTAGE: Slight nod to Norfolk.
This is a game that really does not need any hype. It is a game that has been highlited ever since the schedules were published. Now it is here, front and center for all to enjoy. IFL football at its best.
