i don't have a prob being on that committe of owners of listing the players who will be on the ballot. if you don't like the choices you can always write in your vote.

we can make the selection based on 1 of two ways:

a) a player nominated by a GM will automatically be on the ballot. this is for owners who care about their players/team.

b) the ballot committe will vote on the rest of the eligible guys.

if your guy happens to not be on the ballot and you think he deserved to be on it then the following year you'll be better prepared to nominate your guy.

I suggest we have a small group of owners that starting around week 14 start to compile a list of players for the Owner Awards and create a ballot that way.

Maybe have 3 guys from the AC and 3 from the NC, that way owners who are less involved or without a lot of time can vote based on a pool that is already narrowed down.

I like this idea of starting around week 14 but think it should just be an open "pimp your players" like we do now, not a select group.
