Only way I will ever sit guys is if I have the #1 seed wrapped up. And that's not likely. I will not be pulling an "Anchorage" in Week 17.
I was looking at the standings and finding it unlikely that you would. I hate resting starters even with a clinch. Bad karma. But I've done it.

Anchorage should worry about their seeding because I think they are more vulnerable than people realize.

I would agree. I'm referring to what they did last season.

          OK,

Back to Gameplanning 101. We can't seem to stop anyone on their last drive and have been dreadful in the 4th quarter.

          Houston--you dodged a huge bullet.

consider yourself more lucky than good.

It would also have helped if we could learn how to grind out the clock. Patterson was passing when Carmack was doing fine.

But then again, none of those are my team's fault--their my fault cause my gameplans out to be better than that.

Again, one of these days I'm going to fire myself.

For only the second time in franchise history, the Boston Dragons have a 4 game winning streak. Our last 3 are all versus probably playoff squads. We hope to play the role of the spoiler and also set the tone for 2009.

Will never do that again. :x

Got out of our groove and got spanked in the playoffs.

Not with 2 good CBs. Guess what we're looking for in the draft next yr. We'll be alright once we get back Steiner and get both Jones and Marroquin healthy. We should be strong again by the playoffs.

Well, I don't think there is anything wrong with sitting your starters in FOF 2004 (rust might affect guys in FOF 2007). It's just that you could've been trying for better seeding. The #1 seed was still up for grabs and your loss coupled with a Norfolk win gave them the top spot.

Final was actually 17-13 as the late FG made it a 4 point game forcing the Orges to have to go the whole field for the win.

Mules played a very clean game with no turnovers and minimal penalties. A 50ish yard DPI did suck though

The Mules O was plodding and grinding. Opie led the Mules to 10 or more third down conversions and the OL had nearly 20 KRBs. Lost some critical starters for the season, but they should be good for training camp.

400+ total yards is more than luck

I do agree though, I had 3 turnovers in my own zone, and one at your 45, yet my defense was able to hold your offense to tons of short plays. I think I started seeing the message 'your defense seemed familiar with the play' sometime early in the 3rd qtr. That was huge for us as you only scored 3 points after that, until the crazy last 2 mins of the game.

It was a good game regardless, and I do feel a bit lucky to come out with a win, but don't underestimate how badly Booker and Timmerman can wear down a defense by the end of a game 8)

Good game Suicane! I knew this was gonna be a tough game at your house. Sanders was real good again this week. I really don't see how you can sit him down right now but its your team.

Hopefully, we can get back to form next week.

Should have started Mann a lot sooner ops:

Our offense was non-existent for most of the first half. Way to go [ifl]Ken Richard[/ifl] though, finally showing some reason for someone to take you in the first round. If Willoughby to Bailey beat me, I just might have strangled someone. I watched Bailey mostly suck for two whole seasons. Good game VooDoo.

If Madison wins this week they clinch the division, if they lose they face the possibility of playing Pitt week 17 for the division (long shot though). Tiebreakers would go down to strength of victory though, so even then I may not be able to win the division.
