  • So far the only thing i've liked about 2007 is the draft, how you interview players and it doesn't give 'cur/fut' rating. Seems like it will really make the later rounds of the draft much more fun.

I also like Solevision only for the other scores updating as i'm watching my game. I'll have to keep playing around in the test league to see if there are any other features, but right now those alone aren't enough to make me want to convert right away.

Oh, and the speed of 04 opposed to 07. I'm impatient, so I like how there is no slight pause between screens, like flipping through your roster using the 'next' button. Maybe it's my PC though.

    • The big changes for me are:

Secondary coverage schemes, this is a HUGE deal for me.

Nickel and Dime personnel screens, suddenly you can have a pass coverage LB specialist on the field when you need him there.

      Draft as mentioned.

Solevision, I was never able to get the other viewers to work.

Reduction in effectiveness of the deep passing game.

There's other stuff too, but this is off the top of my head.

      • I agree the Seals is a classic.

FWIW I am actually playing FOF2k7 solo - and enjoying it muchly. I get bored with the 60 interviews, but I really do like the new game a lot.

        • Yeah, there are enough changes for me. When it comes down to the meat and guts of the game, there is no reason to not upgrade/convert. The game still holds no singleplayer value to me though, so I would understand if someone didn't think playing in this league was worth 40 bucks - it just happens to be worth it to me. 8)

          • It's less about money and more about time constraints and lack of interest. I always like to play around with the sports sim before I join any online leagues. That or I'll follow the research being done by the guys on FOFC. But I just don't even feel remotely interested in playing around with FOF2K7. I rarely play single player FOF any more, but instead stick with Football Manager and TCY. FOF2K7 is just bleh to me at this point. I really wish Jim would have re-worked TCY since that's a game with a lot of promise especially for single player.
