Orlando trades pick 1.6 in the upcoming draft and their 1st rounder next year to Vancouver for RB- [ifl]Wesley Connell[/ifl] .

    WWWWOOOWWWWWW!

This one almost seems to slip through the radar.

Vancouver better hope Ramsey is still there at 1.6.
Huge cap hit, and Orlando's next year's pick is high.

All that said...I think Vancouver pulled the trigger on this one too quick.

Orlando finally gets the RB they've been coveting for a couple of years.

This seems like it just pushes the cap problems for Vancouver down the road to next season, but I don't have intimate knowledge of the Vancouver cap situation so what do I know.

You can look at this trade as the beginning of getting control of the cap situation. It's a tough hit to take, but at some point I am going to have to take it. As it stands now, I can't even begin to sign my draft picks for this year let alone fill out my roster with players that can play.

Interesting move here. Orlando should finally have the RB they've coveted since the great [ifl]Dewitt Flynn[/ifl] retired

It's also interesting that a player of Connell's talent is now on his 3rd team in only his 6th season

                          Noooooo!

I JUST saw that he was on the block and was going to do some serious searching for a way to fit his salary onto my payroll... and now I see that he's gone to Orlando!?!?!?

                          AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

At least the move to trade up and nab "The Leash" in last season's draft looks better now.

Yeah, generally I wouldn't recommend trading star players in seven hours.

You'll probably have to move pick 1.6 in the util, so keep that in mind.
