LIBERTY ANNOUNCE NEW LOGO

With many in the fan and league polls favoring the eagle look, team officials approached a local artist to render a new logo for the team. After much speculation and fan fair, the team has announced their new logo effective this season (pending IFL approval).

LIBERTY ANNOUNCE FIRST ROUND OF CUTS

With the team having to reach the 53 man roster limit by tonight's deadline, the team has contacted a few teams about a few players that they are looking to move via trade. While these players actually have a spot on the team, they felt it would be better for them to try and move them to a team that will give them more playing time. The team is currently at 60 players under contract, and so far the following moves have been implemented:

Toby Doss - Placed on IR - This move will keep the player under contract but off the active roster
P Ben Perez - Released - 7th round selection did not impress in camp
DE Neal Hildebrandt - Released - Younger players beat out the aging vet
S Ty Fields - Released - Not a major impact player in camp

The team will meet their final roster numbers via a trade or two, or they will cut players that would possibly stay if a trade is made.
