    APRIL 5TH: Marlins (2-1) Vs Rockies (1-2)
Manny would hit his first homer as a Marlin, a grand slam, in the 2nd inning to pace us. Leftwich threw 6 decent innings and left up 6-4, our pen, finished off by Percival would slam the door. Goodwin, Manny and Wilson all had 2 hits as we take 3 of 4 from the Rockies. Nice way to start the year.
Final Score: Marlins 6 Rockies 4

APRIL 5TH: INJURY & ROSTER NEWS
John Smiley has a slight wrist sprain and will need to be pushed back a day or two. We send Ballard down to AAA and call up SP Curt Lyons. • APRIL 20TH: Marlins (11-6) Vs Braves (13-3)
John Smiley gave up 7 runs in 5 innings as he gets rocked again and is starting to worry me. Jaime Navaro had us on our heels all day as they just came in and made a major statement. Mueller had 3 hits and Lewis had 2.

APRIL 20TH: INURY & ROSTER NEWS
C Dan Wilson has a strained elbow that will keep him out for about 5 days. We decide to go back to a 6 man bench rather than DL him so we send down Pitcher Curt Lyons and call up C Corky Miller.

              APRIL 21ST: Marlins (11-7) Vs Braves (14-3)
Chuck Smith battled John Smoltz pitch for pitch for 7 innings, each man only allowing a solo homer, Larkin for them and Manny for us. We led 2-1 after 7 innings but our pen would let us down. Embree in the 8th and Percival in the 9th each allowed an inherited runner to score as we totaly blew a chance to get a win. Damnit. Krueter had 2 hits.

              APRIL 21ST: INJURY NEWS

              APRIL 22ND: Marlins (11-8) Vs Braves (15-3)
We jumped out to a 6-0 lead off of Steve Sparks but by the end of the 5th inning they led 10-6 thanks to horrible pitching by Phil Leftwich and Gil Heredia. They would go on to win it 12-7 in a game that really........I dunno. We effin shit the bed on this one. But we've got to pick ourselves and go out and just start winning again. Nevin had 3 RBI.
Final Score: Braves 12 Marlins 7

APRIL 22ND: INJURY & ROSTER NOTES
After the game it was revealed that Phil Leftwich has a strained forearm. It's only gonna cost him 1 start but we're gonna DL him anyway as he's been pretty shitty. Maybe after his DL stint he'll come back better. SP Curt Lyons is recalled and will take his spot in the rotation.

                  APRIL 27TH: Marlins (11-13) Vs Dodgers (16-7)
Curt Lyons would leave after five innings down 2-1. Our pen would give up some late runs but it didn't matter cause Pedro Astacio had our number as we dropped our 8th in a row. This sucks ass. Ledesma had 2 hits.
Final Score: Dodgers 5 Marlins 1

Final Score: Dodgers 4 Marlins 1

                  APRIL 30TH: Managerial News

The first thing buck wants to do is JT Snow from 5th to 3rd in the order. Snow is hitting under .200 and could use some help waking up his bat. Mueller will move into the 5 hole.
