Seminara was pitching wonderfully but I left him in too long and he left after 7 tied at 3-3. They would score in the bottom of the 11th off of Pete Walker in a woefully managed game by me.

              AUGUST 4TH: Marlins (41-67) At Phillies (45-62)
Leftwich gave up 7 runs in 5 innings and left down 7-5. We would battle and outhit them but in the end we came up just short in another dissapointing game. Lewis and Mueller each had 4 hits.
Final Score: Phillies 8 Marlins 7

              AUGUST 5TH: Marlins (41-68) At Phillies (46-62)
Chuck Smith left after 7 down 2-1. We would tie it in the ninth but Pete Walker would give up the winning run in the bottom of the 12th as we lose yet ANOTHER heartbreaker.
Final Score: Phillies 3 Marlins 2 (12 Innings)

I'm not trying to be cute, but how many players exactly are in the Canadian Baseball Hall Of Fame? Also, did he give the car to a kid without realizing he still had to drive it?

We held it together for awhile there but again the last 2 months of the season for us were dreadfull.
We finaly turned a profit, measly as it was. We had to sign a few scrubs to fill out our 40 mann roster at the end of the season so that costs us some cash that would of been profit, but I can't complain.

Very few bright spots offensivly. Muller and Snow are 2 guys I believe I can really count on going forward. Goodwin gets a pass for this year but I can't live with him doing this again next year, but he will get a clean slate.
Nevin is tricky as he's really more usefull against lefties so I don't know where his spot on the team lies.
Ledesma was very impressive. Vina and Lewis kind of dissapointed but what can ya do. I just have to look forward.

Barely bright spots out of the rotation were Leftiwch and Chuck Smith. Van Egmond improved over the 2nd half but i'm not sure how much I can count on any of these starters. Seminara also impressed over the 2nd half but I sort of get the feeling that i'll never know what I can get out of these guys over any particular stretch and that's not good.
Percival obviously was wonderfull and Torres and Embree were solid. Heredia struggled some but I thnk he's still quality.
Sort of a hodgepodge of mediocrity otherwise that we'll have to evaluate in the offseason.
                            I luv British womenz.
