I had gotchy on my shortlist if diaz was off the board by my turn. They look pretty similar to me, but that's not saying much.

Only one Defensive lineman taken in the first round, and the first DT comes off the board at 2.10. Portland should have good value there. I guess we've had so many Defensive linemen in the last couple of drafts it finally panned out.MIAMI VICE - 2074

I was unsuccessful in trying to trade up in the second round to grab either DT Turnbull or CB Mazzeo.Originally posted by Argot View PostOnly one Defensive lineman taken in the first round, and the first DT comes off the board at 2.10. I guess that means Little Rock had a decent DraftOriginally posted by Argot View PostUGGH!!!! 4 of the players I want go in succession right before me....
Now just have to figure out which guard to take....
I hate you RedZone

I missed out on Safety Gotchty, but I think Safety Mickey Anthony at 1.32 will be good too
I would have loved to take RB Manubay, but G Bo Aranha at 1.14 was a bigger need and we already have 2 RBs
DE Horace Jarvis at 1.28 replaces DE Moynihan
CB Hayden Godfrey at 1.29 replaces CB Bronson
all in all...id say things went pretty much according to plan
when round 3 gets here...we will try to add some depth...most of our starters appear to be set now...barring any busts

I guess the draft chat was crashing the site today. I turned it off and installed another. Thanks to RZ. You can always just post on the forum too if you don't like the chat or it isn't working.St. Louis Archers / Miami Vice 2027 - 2061

That OG at 1.14 makes my heart melt---never go wrong with a big agile guard
Roar the OLB going 1.1 -- Nice to see that over a WR. Can you imagine him playing Witch in my scheme??? OMFSM (20-25 sack beast! )[Vito]Stallion

I already watched two players I hoped would fall to me go much earlier than I thought they would (shucks) BUT that's made for some interesting drops. Some good players on the board still in positions I don't necessarily need right now --may just skip addressing my perceived needs and grab talent instead. That's never been something I've regretted.[Vito]Stallion

Well that changed with another pick (****), anyway RB Joe Taylor was on my list as the pick for this round; last one worth the grade IMHO. I think you got a good one there per my interview.[Vito]Stallion
