I had Taylor "as scouted". I like his speed bars but wish his hole rec was a little better. Of course, I'm just a greed S.O.B.

I had him as overrated but that's just a scout rating. I liked him and probably would have pulled the trigger on him in the 3rd.

WR Garrett Coffey will be an interesting prospect to watch. Although I'd prefer WRs with better agility, drafting him (player with the best 40 time in this class, along with CB Hayden Godfrey) was too much to pass up in round 3. Coffey's BPR bar could be a positive tell also.

wanted to go elsewhere but that's a sexy man there in Lionel Hoffman...sure he's got no run blocking bar but he should be a good lineman for us...value pick IMO to get potential pass protection in the 75-80 range at this point in the 3rd.

WR Garrett Coffey = STUD WR -- he was my last hope to fall before I opted for the 'safe' pick at OT :/

Some people are probably wondering why I drafted the CB at 1.15 instead of the ILB or the gamble on TE. If you look closely, great candidate to convert to FS. 6'1", 205, good combines and bars, should increase when converted. With the SS I drafted last year getting Rookie of the Year honors, could have something nice in the secondary to go with an already stout defense.

yeah, nice pick. I was salivating when he was got into the teens - hoping somehow he would drop to 19. He should be a excellent safety.

Well, my first round linebacker is a bust - what a bummer way to start the season. I really dislike how combines mean so little now. Feel like giving up on FOF.

Agreed, sucks when this happens. But Edgerrin Schour's drop is per the league scout, who is really bad at judging rookies. My scout didn't show anything close to a 21 point drop. Young player ratings move around a lot and you can't always get a good read until the 3rd/4th year.

To illustrate another recent example, look at Iowa City's QB Samuel Hillery who presumably lost 15 points last camp. But he has already started to rebound. The quality of your coaches really matter now. I'm showing Hillery at 50/77 BTW.

My scout isn't as drastic as the league's either, but he also gave a significant drop in both current and future which is a very bad sign.

All is not lost when you have a drop now, I've had guys do that and the very next season they go the other way.

The league constitution thread indicates the draft accuracy is set to 50, which is suppose to yield the same combine accuracy as FOF 2007.

It's supposed to be the same, but now that we have a setting people want it more accurate. I'm against it because it makes the draft mindless if you just draft off combines and know what a guy will turn out as. If everyone else wants it higher, I can change it though.

Agreed. If combines were more accurate, drafting would no longer be fun and would be robotic.
