Ouch, Tulsa is sucking wind. Columbia played great and had a well deserved win. Both offensives showed some stuff, but the Tornadoes could NOT put the ball into the end zone. Drives stopped on the the 6 and the 2. TDs there and we woulda won. That Columbia D is tough down at the goal line.

We're gonna have to win win and win. I'[ve dropped 2 games in the division, so if I'm going to take 1st place, it will have to be with a better record than anybody. NFC South remains a very interesting place to coach....

Got that right, very good year to be in this division. Just sucks I could not take advantage of your loss to tie things up for first.

      :scratchhead:
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

        Sherwood Hack is the MVP?

Wow, when my O doesn't make mistakes, namely Kroll. And my D plays hard I win. . .

I finnally gave up on my new gameplan and went back to last years. I'm not ssure that made a difference or WV just played badly. Guess I'll find out next week at Wichita.

BTW: End of March I'll be back doing weekly articles. Work has been keeping me in the office about 70 hours a week.

            Thanks MrBIgglesworth!

I thought I was gonna roll after getting 93 passing yards in the first quarter but then as you said you shut down my offense for the rest of the game.

Very True Cringer but even as Wichita pointed out my sucess was due to a different gameplan approach by him which backfired. This lead to my team having a free pass on the ground no matter what. What this did was turned the game into a helterskelter mode and once again a close loss. Wichita does have a very good team, but common, five Offensive linemen out or doubtful, and three of them of all-proish caliber. Anyone who says this hasn't had a major effect on my season must be hitting the pipe too hard.

Tough game to watch on the viewer. 1st possession for CLE we stopped him with a 8 yd loss on a sack. But wait -- QB fumbles CLE player runs it the 8 yds + the other 6 or so for a 1st and they go on to score. Follow that with blocked punt and a short TD for CLE its 14-0 without much effort. Then it goes 21-0 before WIC knew the game was on. From there we managed to play better defense and score some points and get the win.

My defensive game plan was revised for this game to bring the big blitz. Lot of blitzing and a lot of 2 and 3 extra rushers coming. Got burned regularly on the big blitz by the running game. Thought witth the weakened O line now was a chance to get some big defensive plays. NOT.

Great game, I also had many plays that were screwed up, such as the touchdown called back on a penalty, two fumbles on my half of the field, one that was picked up and ran down close to the endzone (14 points off fumbles) and an interception in the Redzone going in for a score.

This was a big win for Madison. We are playing some good ball on the road. We have a 3 game lead in the division too. The defense has been playing great lately.

I switched to a 3-4 on defense with my DL ravaged by the flu and it worked out great. I was a little worried with Orlando being a running team but the guys adapted and played great.

Hey 5-1 on the road so far, have to admit im stoked about that. Now we head back home to take on a very good Burlington team.

I will give you that. Thats what makes the game I guess. My team is not that strong. Your team is still decent. Sometimes luck comes to town. I will maintain that we underachieved last year but are now flirting with overachieving. We win close games. Our defense bends a lot and breaks some. We dont dominate and that is a recipe for disaster. Toss in a QB injury now and we are very happy to have a 3 game lead at this point as a cushion so we make the playoffs.
