You mean all the missed FGs in OT?

Wow, Tart went down eh? That may send him into depression, not sure if Tart could handle that.
Anyone see the miracle? Iowa City WON IN West Virginia! Holy shit rasher, nice way to get another win against the Beasts of all teams.
This sets up a very interesting meeting in Hartford next week. Can WVA lose 3 in a row? Can the Griz climb into 2nd place in the division, possibly even move into 1st? Will the Griz get revenge for their ass whipping they suffered the first week of the season?
Will Luis get his export in?
All this and more next week!

Wow, A food poisoning epidemic hits Albuquerque, right before what could be our biggest game of the season. I lose 4 starters just like that. Cringer, I won't be back to my computer until late Monday night and I drastically need this FA export. Any way you could delay it till early Tuesday or late Monday?
I could think of a couple of things to say about that:
Just shut up and go back eating. There's still something left on that table.
or
Must be your last trip south of the border. Oh, that dreaded mexican water...
No, really, sorry about that. To give you some comfort: I'm again without Mulcahy, so I guess anything can happen next week.
Cleveland season continues to go down mainly to injuries. Another teeth clenching loss to division rival Wichita. 5 offensive linemen are now out. I am stunned my team is even competing with this type of injury destruction. How my team ran for 300 yards with 80 percent backups and recent free agent signings starting on my OL is amazing. The only positive thing to come out of this game is my team took out Wichita's QB for six weeks and dinged up their top WR.

Kcin, your team was up 21-0 after one quarter and you had 320 yards rushing for your team. I don't think this loss can be blamed on your injuries. Lack of a passing game doesn't help, and you had 4 turnovers that got you. Maybe give Wichita a little credit for just plain having a better team eh?
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
I fear this 4 weeks without Tart may shut the window on the playoffs for us. Booker needs a running game to be effective as it seems to set up my downfield game.
Anybody that argued that Tart isn't that important to SLC should watch how pathetic the team becomes over the next 3-4 weeks without him. This is gonna get ugly

I think you were the only one that argued that he wasn't very important, whether it was directly implied or not (your putting him on the block and discussions with me).
Yeah, and you are the only one who has been saying you have no shot at the playoffs this whole time too. I think 'ole Vito is working the reverse psychology on us.

If you haven't noticed I did update the main story on the Sports Page, I think that is all I am going to put up until the morning on there. I will get the rest up then.

Wow, ugliest game my team has ever played. I seriously need an effective every down back. Up 10-0 and I knock their QB out, and go on to get shut out 27-0 the rest of the way, i'm not liking the way my team is playing at all. And I lose my TE and SLB, oofah.
LEAGUE NOTES
1. Columbia comes up huge with a win against Tulsa to stay alive.
2. Iowa City shocks West Virginia, wow.
3. Louisiana is gettin on a roll, good thing i built up a lead, now it's all even.
4. Huge win for Boston, they seriously needed a game like this to get off the snide.
5. Hamilton & Connell did all they could for Oakland but they still fell short, but Oaklands playin tough this year.
6. That may have been Clevelands last stand, and they fought to the bitter end in a really great game.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK
1. Albequerqe heads into Portland in a really big matchup.
2. Burlington vs Madison is also very big, probably the 2 best games of the week.
AFC SEASON OVERVIEW
1. Wichita may have the AC North division wrapped up already.
2. It's a 3 team race in the AC South, i'm including Houston because they are good enough to make a run, maybe too young though.
3. Just when you think Boston is out and WV is ready to run away with the division, things change. I don't think anyone thinks Boston is as good but the longer you hang in the better your chances get.
4. A Portland win next week and they could grab a comfortable lead in the AC West, but if they lose things could fall into a pretty tight 3 or even 4 team race, a big week for that division.
NFC SEASON OVERVIEW
1. Madison has the NFC North wrapped up, whats gone wrong with Fargo?
2. The NFC South is gonna be fun to watch, 3 good teams (and owners) battling it out, I would normal Columbia under normal circumstances but without Cartegena they arn't the clear favorites they would be, this is a fun race.
3. Burlington continues to roll in the NFC East and with a 2 game lead they may have put all the distance they need between them and Orlando but I do expect the Pirates to make this a race down to the wire.
4. The NFC West is another fun division, 3 really good teams fighting it out, but with Tart out for 4 weeks SLC is gonna have to scrape and claw to keep this from becoming a 2 teams race, of course management upheaval in Vancouver could prove to be a big distraction for that team, perhaps Reno can take advantage of these factors and pull away over the next month.
3.
- Missed 40 yard FG (short)
- Fumble in the red zone in the 4Q down 3
- Interception in the endzone with 2 min left down 6
- 20 yards of penalties wiping out 21 yards of gains on the final drive, a swing of 41 yards
- Starting guard out for the season
- Second string TE joining 1st string TE on the DL for 6 weeks
The team is making strides though. Out-gained our opponent for the 3rd consecutive week. Lawrence's only TD came after a fake FG, and they had 6 3-and-outs over their final 8 possessions, so the defense is solid. Top pick G Butch Anderson has gone up 9 points since the season started, and QB Mann and WR Little have started to develop so there might be a passing game in Pittsburgh soon. With the injuries and the record though, I'm probably going to start playing some younger players and look towards next year, where with the bad luck that Cleveland is having I may have two top ten picks.
Good game Lawrence, you held tough when your backs were against the wall and we crumbled!
