good game, Kevin. We are keeping to our Hartford dominance for at least another season. Came out a little flat. Maybe Van Verth had some first game jitters. But he settled in after a quarter or so. Here's to hoping he is the answer for us at QB when Markel retires.

Another awful result for Wichita today and we slip off the top of our division.
What a complete and utter collapse over the last few games.
GG Lukas, I don't know what is up with my team.
They are an embarrassment at the moment.

actually, you are 4-0 if you count the Iowa upset of Wichita.
Yea ... hoping to have a crack back at you.

But you have been absolutely unbelievable this year ... hats off for a great GM performance!!

Markel should return for their first playoff game … but there is new discussion on whether this will alter the chemistry on a team that seemed invincible and will the backup QB Peter Van Verth be able to take them to an undefeated regular season?? … something that has never occurred in IFL history.
If we can get through Little Rock on the road, I think we have a shot. I think we've managed 14-0 due mainly to an easy schedule, a couple opponents having down years and luck win or two.

I'll take the No. 1 seed, as I'll need it to make it to a championship game, but by not winning the division last year, we got out of having to play Portland and Cleveland, two of the best teams in the conference. Instead, Norfolk had to play them and lost each time. Just adding a bit of perspective to my record.

Yeah, not sure what one thing to point to that is causing this season I'm having. Just good cohesion and aging but still good talent at the right spots i guess.

Well, we jumped all over Georgia. Then let them come back. I was certain we would lose.

We need to beat Norfolk (yeah, right). And then that sets up a division showdown with Little Rock.

I had a feeling a) the dice rolls would go Portland's way, a three game win streak over them would have been out of this world for Matadors, and b) the star qb for Portland would play, and c) ours wouldn't.

All three happened. LOL. GG Jeffrey. We're getting there, but evidently, we're not where we need to be just yet!!!! But, damn...we are improving..can't complain about that.

One more win for our first winning season in eight seasons....two more wins to get to double digit wins, something we haven't done in 13 SEASONS...ouch.

GG Jeffrey... we're building to compete, and beat, your team.

Another win but we are all but eleminated. Next week will be the final chance. We have to win out and one of two teams have to lose out. 3 games we lost by a TD or less. I wish I would have gotten the gameplan in shape earlier.

                            GG David,

happy to win, but disappointed that we started playing well only when it was too late to do anything. Had the same problem early in the season as you have now, absolutely no idea why the team was playing badly.

Matt, as an update ... that other league got the db working just today ... so you may have better luck now.

GG Oakland. Donovan would not be denied his 4th quarter comeback. Well, we lost precious ground against Penn and Lawrence, but at least no new injuries. And we have the last two at home.

GL the rest of the way BFinno. Put some pressure on those Stallions! The final game between you two may be for a playoff spot (although it'll be very tough to beat out Newark and Lansing I would think)
