I don't have his combines on this computer, but I recall a lot of red combines. I still think that combine scores should stay on the player cards, but that's another discussion......
the problem with him was his bars. He was very much like Tyler.
He maxed out his ratings by yr 2 and was somewhere around 31/31. He may have hit a volitility stick in yr 2 or 3, but he never progressed like i was hoping he would. Long story short......it's a crap shoot!!!
Needs to be alot of things better with this game. I think with the technology how it is since this game came out way back when a lot coulda been done to improve this game. a Live 3-D Game day. (doesn't have to be madden like but maybe small 3-d like Football Manager). A Tab on the player cards that shows his combine numbers as you mentioned. A Tab on the player cards that show year to year what their overall ratings were so you can track throughout a guys career his ups and downs. A Better looking and more interactive user interface. A history on players in the draft of what their college stats were would be cool. Just a ton of small things that overall could greatly improve the quality of the game.

Game hasn't changed much Looks wise since I first bought the original version that came via package in the mail on a yellow CD.

The only problem I have with Vito's QB at 1.13 is where he picked him. Unfortunately, it is indicative of the shared knowledge. We all read the same stuff and that is why he would not have made it out of the first round. In reality he should have gone in 5-6 round range and if he creeped we would call Vito a god. (Although, from my recollections of the early days I still do call him that. Tart was a man among boys)

So, as Matt said it is still a crap shoot. If you like a guy and think he will be great you have to jump early. Everyone else is seeing the exact same thing. In SP I have run with QB's in the 40's and do not call my own plays and they put up unreal numbers. I think both those QB's for Vito and DG will be fine in the right system. It is just out of whack that you have to take a risk that high in the first because someone else will. I usually go safer and have missed on some big booms. Oh well!!

FOFL league does this on their own, not sure how, but it's VERY nice.

Good News/Bad News for you. Good news is you got a damn good RB of your own. Bad News see below.

QB Troutman lost 4 future rating points after creeping all last year. I think he will move back up in future ratings as well.

"Propane" has jumped again to 61/61 now from his original 35/42. He stalled all last season at 53/53 or 54/54 by my since-jettisoned scout.

You guys realize that means you would have missed all of Free Agency 1, the draft, and all of Free Agency 2.
