Two heavy hitters on the docket, Newark at Lawrence and Oakland at Tulsa. I'd almost like to see Oakland go in and end Tulsa's streak - but the owner sez if I want to keep my job I better root for Tulsa.
I just noticed that Newark is averaging 30.9 points a game (2nd in league) and giving up only 12 (1st in league) - for a +18.9 avg point differential!
No other team is close to that. So with due respect to WVA, I think NWK is my champion favorite at the rough halfway point (if they win at LAW).Last edited by markc; 06-02-2011, 07:39 AM.

don't be over hyping us pleez. k thx
I all honesty, and no disrespect to my previous opponents, but we've been playing a 3rd place schedule this year. In previous years we were playing 1st and 2nd place schedules. This makes a difference when playing the season out. I do have an advantage over Lawrence and Tulsa, in that respectNEWARK BULLDOGS WALL OF HONOR

In my never ending quest to figure out defense and get lower than 26 pts/game allowed I wonder sometimes how much of it is just the reality of playing the NC's best each season. It bothers me greatly that I can't get down to about 10 pts/allowed but looking over any season's schedule I see that it might be unrealistic to expect to hold most of those teams to little over a TD for a whole game.Originally posted by Matt View Postshhhhhh!

Jesus christ. What a fucking annihilation. Not even close. Grats Tarc, although I'm not surprised. I just can't figure out how to beat the elite teams in the league. I'm better, but again the Lawrence's, Tulsa's and Norfolks, I can't even keep it close.
All the talent in the world but if you can't gameplan your always gonna get smoked. Oh well. Maybe you'll have a bunch of injuries and I can at least make the next meeting competitive. Your the better team bro, good luck the rest of the way.

Don't get comfy there. I may get my ass kicked by the Lawrence's and Tulsa's, but I'm gonna smoke your ass when we meet againOriginally posted by Argot View PostTalk about injuries, the Wolfpack limp into first place. Now...can we take care of pesky Vancouver in our first meeting.
GG Vito. I was amazed to hold you twice inside the 5.

LOL, the way he's playing I'm about to bench him. He's already thrown 9 interceptions in a run first offense. I can't figure out what happened to him. He's really sucking hard this year.Originally posted by Argot View PostWeek 17 won't matter by then, Donovan will be in IR, and I will have already clinched. :P
