Gus Rome is getting it done, which is a pleasant surprise. The defense really came up big in this game though with 6 picks and some nice pass rush too.

gg Suicane. Had the ball at midfield with ability to kill the clock and Hodel, who had a horrific game, throws the ball on the ground. Warthogs just keep finding ways too lose.
If it makes you feel any better you outplayed me. Special Teams came up big for me with a blocked punt late that led to the game winning TD.

Back to .500 and back to facing a much superior team next week in an attempt to get over that hump. If only I could of squeaked out one of those losses i'd be in the playoff hunt

From what I understand, this scoring is dependent on what system is used to calculate scoring. I had asked Vic to use extender for the pre game and post game discussions until such time as Ben can allot the time to delete the stat file for the week that went wonky. It should only take him a minute to do, he just has a number of things on the go.

both games against Lawrence were not as we'd have hoped. We couldn't stop Amos again. Just one of those things where we needed our running game to keep the Phantom D on the field and we never got into a rhythm despite leading this game for a short while.

When you have your QB turn the ball over 4 times, that doesn't help!!!

Newark has given up 125 points this season. 79 to the Phantoms! Phantoms are on pace to break the scoring record while the Bulldogs are giving up under 8 points/game against the rest of the league. One of the best statistical offenses and one of the best statistical defenses of All-Time in the same division in the same year.

You did shut down DH. 16 for 39 Yards. But that sneaky inside draw at your 9 yard line. DH is the MAN!

Special teams is very special in Tulsa. We got great field position all day. From all phases of the special teams.

Defense in Tulsa Is classic bend but dont break. You have experienced it now Jave. We wait for the offense to get way ahead. Im a great pass defense team.

That 28 yard TD pass to Tim Rhinehart is the reason we got him. Its great to have 3 top notch receivers. Hard to cover. Sanford was picking and picking.

Donovan found Johnnie Cassidy But you went away from him. That was too bad.

Wingfield was a non-factor. You need to figure that out. He is too good to be a non-factor. Ever.

You have a great team, Jave. Give it time. Youre right there.

                  And Jave your #29 :thewave:
Thanks for the kind words but........WOW, my ass still hurts. Feels like I got raped by a stampede of angry buffalo

so thats what happend. I misread the boxscore. Still Hodel throwing the ball on the ground when only a few more yards were needed to try the game winning FG just might be worse.

Haven't had the heart to watch the last couple of games.
