      ROFL, WTF???
Played in Oakland, CA, weather: 50 degrees, fair, calm.
Oakland won the toss and elected to receive.
      Start of first quarter.
(1Q: 15:00) Derrick Tatum kicked off 59 yards from the REN30. Kent Mulligan returned the ball 89 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Oakland 6, Reno 0
(1Q: 15:00) Extra point by Cornell Burgess was good. Oakland 7, Reno 0
(1Q: 14:43) Cornell Burgess kicked off 63 yards from the OAK30. Irving Sweeney returned the ball 93 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Oakland 7, Reno 6
(1Q: 14:43) Extra point by Derrick Tatum was good. Oakland 7, Reno 7
Grats Reno. I knew this game was gonna be tough, I haven't produced SQUAT offense this year, I can't figure out how to gameplan for this squad. Wilson only got 10 carries, sigh...wtf kinda of dumbass gameplan was that? I'm an idiot. Gonna go back to the drawing board. Gonna watch the game and be back.

offense was hard to come by in the Newark / Orlando game. We got a few bounces and that really helped us make Orlando go to a 1 dimensional offense.

GG Kurt. Can't wait to see you again this year

Cleveland/Norfolk and Dakota/Penn were both amazing games!!

Madison's defense was very tough but the Phantoms sneak by with another win. GG BOSS.

Finally. For the first time we don't lose the TO battle. The FB at TE experiment is over. 19 points in the first 15 quarters and 55 in the last 5. Knew we weren't that bad.

Any interest in Rogers out there?

            Good game, SLC

GG Tarc. Your defense shut us down. After you shredded my D in the first 10 minutes ours played well too. I can't believe only 3 points were scored after halftime. At least we got some revenge on Albriktsen and broke his nose - take that!

As Jave noted, back to back TD KO returns to open the Reno/Oakland game - too funny. Props to Reno for taking that one.

The big play was the early TD called back against the Matadors that resulted in the team settling for 3 points. Mind you it was two fumbles that set up all the Matadors points in this one.

I set the defense to stop the run and it did a decent job so was happy with that... I need more from my passing game, but the running game and turnovers helped seal this one. If my kicker convets the two he missed it would of been a more comfortable win.

                    GG Matadors.

                      GG Chris,

everything was clicking today for IWC and we improved to 4-1. Don't know what's up with MTL this season, they seem like a strong team.

Wow, HUGE comeback for us. 17 4th qtr points, my TE Levine had a good coming out party finally, and we overcame 4 turnovers.

However, for the 2nd week in a row, the FOF engine tried to fuck me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but down 24-13 late in the 4th qtr is guaranteed two-point conversion time, right?

We scored a TD, but decided to kick.. why? Kick or miss, we're down by a TD, and you can only benefit by going for two there, so it's inexcusable for Jim not to have something like that in the code. Based on the huge screwjob Jim gave me last week, I was fully expecting us to miss it despite being 1st and goal at the 1. When that quickly became 3rd and 1 from the 1, I was ready to snap

Oh well, we won, so hard to complain, but man is FOF a shitty engine.

Happy about that game. The plan was to try and stop Mr Hamilton and we did it very well. The offense was crappy in the 1st half but a nice comeback to win that one. The defense was really impressive in this one. I didn't even care about the running game in this one but we could still contain them.

This was the oddest game I ever watched. When Oakland took the opening kickoff I thought, great! this one's going to be ugly...then when we returned the favor, I thought, maybe FOF gods are smiling. Way too many sacks from McNeil, didn't want to run? Oakland makes way too many 3rd down stupid penalties to extend my drives only for me to shut down inside the 20 and even fumble inside the red zone...

I will take this one and tuck it away as luck. We arent as good as our record. Tulsa should bring us back to earth.

but Mike, as we both know, it is only a good gauge at this pointin time. I cannot bring much more hoopla than that cause it ain't a win in the playoffs.

.... may see you again in that scenario though and hope that the end result can be duplicated for the Vipers.

GG, I enjoyed matching wits with the reigning champ.
