If the NFL could only submit blind offers to players and only found out in 2 stages whether or not they signed, you can bet some teams would have over 100 before they cut down to the required 80.

FWIW - I noticed Houston's 94 players as I was checking teams vs the cap. I didn't think it was a big deal, and even humorous as a 1 time IFL event. What did alarm me was Dakota's 46 player "team" and no cap room. Gonna be an interesting season for the Spirit if injuries hit.

If you paid attention during this period, instead of jumping on the bandwagon, you would have noticed I had the large list of players after the first export. If you must know, and I'm sure you do, I didn't add anyone to that list for the 2nd export, in fact I withdrew a lot of offers on the positions I filled up in FA1.

If we had an export before FA3, I would have cut even more.

Oh yea, I forgot in my last post about your QB. I don't care how you spend your money, you can spend $40m a season on a QB, but the point was to prove the way you did it was exploiting flaws in the game.

I don't have a problem with a team having 94 players before camp. Everyone had a chance to sign them. As long as he doesn't have more than 70 for camp since it can fucked up the engine.

Even if he get a random boom out of one of them Kobeck, it's gonna be impossible to tell if the guy was one of the players over the 70 limit.

I agree that it could give him an advantage with cohesion but the player would still be a crappy one so there's not going to be a lot of impact.

It would probably be a good idea to clarify it in league rules.

While I respect the rules of the league, I honestly thought due to the nature of the 3 sim signing period, and blind offers that sometimes get out of control, some leeway would be given as long as proper cuts were made before training camp, and it was, this season at least... I thank Suicane for not being a dick about it. I knew he was good for something!

(again, due to a large portion of my players signing on stage 3, without giving me a chance to withdraw any offers, it makes this stage really tough to try and find the diamonds in the rough. I never would have allowed to roster to inflate to 90+ had another stage been in before 3rd week)

However, I don't feel the least bit bad about those claiming I "prevented" their team from signing players. Like you said, everyone had an equal chance at signing them, especially at the rate I signed 99% of them. Maybe the new financial system in the league finally caused people to be more cautious, which also caught me off guard.

3-4 seasons ago, I would have been lucky to sign half of the players I did at the price I did. I'm sure I'll take that into consideration next off-season and offer even less, since teams aren't going crazy like they used to.
