I am one to believe that the financials in FOF are broken...not that you CAN'T ever fix the problem, but that it takes so long to do so. And even with winning, there are intangibles that are impossible to wrap your head around. When you get a denial to build, or renovate and it gets denied, there is no explanation...so you take a shot the next year...and it still doesn't get approved...now 3 years have passed and you really have no idea why you are denied so you try to move...and then...they say you can't move...


One of my fears for Dakota is that it comes from the Green Bay Packer Financials, where the fans hold the trust for the organization and it might just be impossible to move that team...because its owned by the city....we just have no idea how the game was actually set up...there is way too much fog of war.

the argument that says you don't have the money is almost irrelevant.
THere is a strategy that you can have to sign coaches. if you look at your financials and compare that to those that you are competing against in that staff hiring yr (other teams looking for coaches), put your best offer at the 2nd best or 3rd best coach. years that you have your coaches signed, try and upgrade before the contract runs out.

I've been in the same spot in another league where i had the 2nd worst financials in the league. I never had the worst coaches in the league.
Ideally, if we could start again we could level the economic playing field, but that's not an option.
You can make it work. trust me.

It's not something I'd want to do. I enjoy my division mates and don't think I'd like to give that up. That said, if I needed to prove that i could make another team "work" I would do that.
