We cant win the big road games. Doom and gloom.
It was a shootout. We couldnt finish it off.
Gillette has negatively affected my O Line cohesion.

Yea, thanks, Vipers have had two good games in a row, but I have a feeling that this will not be the last time that we see each other this year.

Also, check out the power ratings, in your loss, the Beast leapfroged over the Vipers into first.
Go figure .... game does some strange things that are not understandable.

We made an 0-6 team look like they were the New England Patriots. Way too many turnovers.

It's going to be a long rest of the season.

Fresno and Anchorage exchange TD drives to start the game. Warthogs lost 3 points when Oskenberg came up short of the crossbar on a 48 yard attempt late 2Q. On the previous play Fresno was flagged for a deadball intentional facemask moving the ball back 15 yards - arrugh. Warthogs force a 3 and out and are facing 3rd and 10 as the 1Q ends with the score tied at 7.
Chapman stuffed on 3rd and 1 ending Warthog drive early 2Q. Anchorage drive ends after 3 plays and the short punt give the Warthogs good field position at their own 44 still early 2Q. There is a Peko sighting and Oksenberg connects on a short FGA 10-7 Fresno mid 2Q. Colella bomb intercepted by Warthog ballhawk Shapiro late 2Q. Huge 3rd and 1 with 1:27 left in half - And Schwartz goes over the top to Chapman for 22 yards 1st and goal at the 7 for the Warthogs. And Schwartz connects with O'Neal for the TD 17-7 Fresno at the half
Anchorage gets the ball to start the second half and Fresno looks familiar with that Lynx pass to start the 3Q. Penealty laden drive sees Gaudio witha 46 yard FGA which is good. 17-10 Fresno early 3Q. Warthogs first 3 and out is followed by a short punt and Anchorage is in buisiness near midfield still early 3Q. And the Lynx keep it on the ground converting 2 rushing 3rd downs and then Colella goes over the top to the Warthog 11 Colella connects on yet another 3rd down for the tying points 17-17 late 3Q. WOW Schwartz answered and fast 24-17 Warthogs late 3Q. Big Beauchamp SAC puts the Lynx O on the field for a 4th and 8 from the 32, but Lynx called for delay of game bringing on the punter. 24-17 Fresno end of 3Q
Warthogs punt and a Lynx penalty gives them the ball at their own 19 early 4Q. All of a sudden Fresno is no longer familiar with Lynx passes - arruggh. Colella to Berry TD wipped out for illegal reciever and a few plays later Colella throws his second INT of the game. 24-17 fresno mid 4Q with Warthog ball at their own 6. Really need a couple of FDs here. Schwartz scrambles for 5 on 3rd and 4 - huge play in this game. Schwartz to Roche for 15 gets Fresno off their goalline with uner 5 minutes left. 2 more Warthog FDs and Lynx take a TO with 2:36 left. Schwartz deep to Poston puts the ball at the Lynx 12. Chapman gets the 4 yard TD and it is 31-17 Fresno late 4Q. Colella leads Lynx to TD with 24 seconds left and Lynx GET the Onside kick. 31-24 Fresno with 19 seconds left Anchorage needing 59 yards to tie - Colella to Ramsey over the middle for 11 - stat grabber!
                31-24 Fresno
That Schwartz TD to go back ahead in the 3Q was huge, Warthogs had 0 TOs and any team is tough to beat when they don't beat themselves.
gg BuddaKing - guess it was not meant to be with Reinhardt.

gg Jave. Wilson broke open a defensive game with his long TD run and he stayed hot through the rest of the game. The first half was bad for both offenses as neither could get the ball in the EZ. We had a first and goal on the 8 and were stopped. We couldn't protect Gunther, but I wish he had scrambled more often.

Got a bye and then a big game with SLC. Almost a must win for us 'cause if we lose they will have swept us. Glad to get my bye during the double-game week so I don't have to wait so long for this game.

just when this team is starting to get its feet under it, here comes Penn

...Gene Hamilton MUST go down and he must go down hard!!!

My plan is to hire a stripper to smack his knee with a pipe...

having a little bit of problem finding those type of women here in "The Lake"

I would really like to understand how my star RB went down with heat exhaustion in 49 degree weather...wtfzzz

                      gg Spirit

5-2 is nice but now I'm starting 7 rookies -- I just don't see us getting it done against the Lions with this much youth in play but you better believe we're not mailing it in. Bring it Cy!!!

GG Kobeck...we had a chance but we couldnt stop schwartz at all. That 3 play touch-down drive after we tied it really did us in. He's coming into his own which is scary. I'd hate to see what would happen with a top WR.

We could very well not win 5 games this season just look at my remaining games. Oh well our game-plans have been much better lately so with some tweaks we could still be in it. A top-ten pick would do wonders though...we are lacking game-breakers all around especially at CB, and RB.

What a tough, tough game. Props to your team Mark, they left nothing out there. About 45 minutes prior to game time I made ONE minor adjustment to hopefully break open Wilson more and it seemed to work:

You've been able to stop my run game the last 2 games we've played so it was good to figure out how to get Wilson into open space against your tough defense.
My defense also seems to have settled down since the loss of Carlson for the year. They have been absolutely dismantled the last two weeks so it was good to see them get back to tough, basic football. Line up and smash the other guy in the face. That's what we do best. This game also highlighted a few mistakes I've been making that I need to adjust.

Normally I wouldn't root for my fellow NC West mates, however I have to admit I was cheering for Salt Lake against that joke of a franchise Dakota. Grats Vito! Even though it kept ya atop the division standings, it was worth it this week. I will also be rooting for Reno this week. Good luck although you won't need it. You could start your preseason roster and beat that faggot DG. Don't worry DG, the draft is right around the corner and once again, you will be THE MAN!!!
