Frustrating to not see Jamison getting the ball too. I don't want my 2nd string guy getting the same amount of carries. c'mon man!!

That was ugly as we were inspired by the spirit of giving thanks to the holiday season. We contributed 5 defensive penalties leading to 20% of Houston's first downs. We were called for a holding penalty in the endzone for a safety.

Combine that with a 1/11 effort on 3rd down, an injury to our starting ILB in the first quarter and you get a beatdown served by the Renegades.

GG Steve. I'm just glad to get that 4 game road trip over.

On a side note: Josh Sullivan returned his IFL record 10th kickoff for a TD.

Oh and I HATE playing in the AC East!!!!

And I just noticed that 8 of my final 11 games are against teams with winning records. I guess we're going to really have to earn our paychecks this season.

              2015. I don't like this feeling.
My gameplan ain't working the way it should and we're losing. My defense is getting gashed too.

Yea my defense stepped up on 3rd down, was great to see. I was very fortunate with some penalties including the safety.

I wish my young guys would develop quicker but things are coming together finally.

We overcome a sloppy game today. 3 turnovers, 10 penalties and 2 missed FGs. But Sanford was amazing. 27-35 448 yards 5 TDs and 2 picks. Wow.

He loves Brick and Andrews. Brick had 7 catches for 150 yards and a TD. Great game. But he was surpassed by Andrews. 7 catches for 168 yards and 2 TDs.

Orlando is on the cusp of something great I think. They are almost there.

                  GG Pirates.

Great game for Hamilton this week as we win our 3rd game. 423 yards and 2 TDs.

                      I don't know what I'll do when he'll retire.

GG to Reno and good luck the rest of the way.

dang and double dang! but congrats anyway, Tuffy. That was a hard fought game and a good one to watch.

I am very disappointed that the Vipers lead in almost every statistical category and by good margins .... all except for the final score.

Last few minutes were just heartbreaking for Viper fans.

                        1. Tied 16 - 16 ... Mules go three and out. Punt.
                        2. Vipers take over and drive convincingly for the winning FG ... driving well within Morris' range and Cavazos on a 2nd and 1 put it up for grabs ... Mules intercept.
                        3. Mules drive, stall and try a 42 yarder with 10 seconds left ... Wide ... Whew that was close!
                        4. BUT Vipers are off sides, Mules then hit a 37 yarder with 5 seconds left.
                        5. SHEESH!@Xekjf?!!

Well it was a good run for the opening start before the bye week ... played a lot of good teams ... the bottom half of the schedule should not be as brutal.

Well a week to rest and a take up the charge again.

Like Chicago said ... AC East was brutal last year and looks to be a carbon copy this year.

Last season this team was penalized a ton, and it reared it's ugly head in this game. Twelve penalties. And fumbles in the other team's red zone which could have cost us this game. But defensively we held Oullette to a 29 qb rating, so there was some good in the game.

GG UKPatfan... okay, Ugly Game UKPatfan...

Next up, Iowa City...we get TE Fehr back, thank god, and Mallard has a minor ankle injury. We'll have to adjust.
                            Yuck....what a poor game Hoosier.
Only the Matadors lack of discipline kept things close as we got more yards from LA pens than our passing game!!

Ouellette had one of those horrible rookie games and we're putting this one to bed, not even gonna look at the game film....it's been burnt.

Schwartz started the game 3 for 9 - 41 3 hurries 3 pass defensed and a drop. Other guys need to help some
Snipe Hunters 3 Warthogs 0 endo of 1Q
Chapman made a nice play on a Schwartz checkdown extending a Fresno FG drive. Fresno ties it at 3 early 2Q
Looks like the rookie PR Leibforth might be riding the pine next week as he has laid 2 on the ground now and this last one turned into a Iowa City TD 10-3 Snipe Hunters mid 2Q
Fresno has a promising drive ruined by a little home cooking 'clipping' penalty and Oksenberg missed the 51 yard FGA leaving Snipe Hunters plenty of time to do something to end the half
Warthogs force a 3 and out and Leibforth makes the fair catch - Yeah! Iowa City sack leads to a Warthog punt and the Snipe Hunters have the ball at midfield with 2 mins left wanting to extend their forturious lead. Snipe Hunters dropped a couple of passes and the half ends with the score Iowa City 10 Fresno 3
Snipe Hunters get the ball to begin 3Q and their drive stalls with the Warthogs getting the ball at their own 13. Uuugh rookie FB Alcott throws the ball on the ground and Snipe Hunters jump on it at the Warthog 42. These TOs are making me angry! Can't beat a quality opponent when you make these mistakes - damn rookies!
Iowa City ignoring the 52 yard FG and going for it on 4th and 3 from the Warthog 35 and Sanford leads Ozguner to the sticks - dang could have flipped the field there instead Armstrong hits Sinclair for a 15 yard TD 17-3 Snipe Hunters mid 3Q. Somebody remind me to drop Peko on the depth chart please - Arrugh dude can't beat LBs anymore.
Snipe Hunters moving the ball thru the air as the 3Q ends 17-3 Iowa City
Armstrong adds to the Fresno pain with another TD pass 24-3 Iowa City early 4Q.
Schwartz leads the Warthogs to a TD and the score is 24-10 Snipe Hunters still early 4Q.
lol - gotta love the bad luck - Fresno keying on pass, Iowa City throw a Very Short pass for 12 yards.
Finally all the passing by Iowa City has resulted in a break for the Warthogs as Armstrong throws an INT and Warthogs take over at their own 43 still early 4Q
For some reason Champan, with a sore foot, is still being fed the ball - arrugh! Warthogs get lucky and recover fumble but still 2nd and 10 and the clock is ticking. And another Warthog run this time Johnstone is stuffed. 3rd and 10 and the clock continues to move ... another pass defense. Wait the HC finally figured out that scoring might be important on this drive so he is going for it on 4th and 10 ... Schwartz throws to Helm beyond the sticks for a FD. Big play there. Still confused by the 2 runs to start the drive.
Sack and Defense familiar with play setting up 4th and 17 play mid 4Q ... another pass defensed. My WRs stink - lol
Turn out the lights the partys over ...
